These are great little devices for running multiple lines to connected equipment in home theater racks or cabinets. Installed on in my brother's media cabinet from his router and then hardwired the receiver, roku, and blu-ray player. Have an 8 port version in my media cabinet and still running strong 2 years later. They just work and put them on auto-pilot.

No Cons... brother said it looked plain, so we added two blue tape racing stripes down the middle. Pros.. easy setup that took nowhere near a minute and it’s been working flawlessly. Only needed it to wire an Xbox One and PS4. The PS4 had been getting major lag issues with all the wireless devices at home, atleast 10 (consoles, phones, tv, thermostat, etc)

It’s great dependable product. Very easy to use requires no setup just plug and play. Smaller than your average switch and very light weight. Connects up to 4 wired devices to the internet or to each other, I have my game console and my tv connected to the internet no lags or glitches. Recommend for expanding your network.

I bought this to connect to my wireless router, which had no available ports. The set up was very easy and quick, and it works just like expected. I now have room for additional devices! I added a wireless camera system and was concerned about a drop off in speed, but so far it hasn't happened. Great solution at a reasonable price.

I install a considerable amount of IT equipment. Netgear switches have been both affordable and reliable. The 5 port 10/100/1000 has been a go to both as a small production switch and a spare to take on support calls. I would recommend this product

I was worried if I connect too many things to this will i suffer speed drop off?No. You dont. I can connect this to my router, then connect my streaming device, game console, smart hub, etc. Works great. You have a green light on for each connection you plug in, plus the power light. Good buy from best buy.

Very impressed with the speed of package delivery. Also, it is very compact, about the size of two thin stacked external hard drives. Got it on a sale, so at the time a great deal for this 100/1000. Even regular price still good value. Serves its purpose. Definitely recommend especially if limited on desk/area space.

Recently got my home setup to use Ethernet connection throughout. I needed a switch to handle a couple more additional devices in my master bedroom. Saw the great reviews on this switch and thought I would go ahead and try this out. I was not disappointed. I was surprised on how small the switch was. It could almost fit anywhere and not be intrusive. Which would be handy in tighter spaces like my network box in the house if I wanted to wire more rooms later. Pretty much plugged in all my devices in my bedroom and powered it on and started working right away. For around 30 bucks, this little guy is a quick solution for expanding your home network.

I've been happy with the performance of this product since getting it. Very easy to set up and use and performance of my connected computer and Xbox One is great. One issue I ran into was connecting my network printer. For some reason computers on my home network don't recognize the printer. Not sure if this is an issue with the Switch or the printer. Could also be an error on my part.

This was purchased for my sons school dorm desk as he has several devices and figures the use of a direct connected link though a hub would be best that wireless as everyone wants to do wireless. This includes laptop, xbox and another device. Nothing fancy, just a great device that is inexpensive and does the job.

I recently purchase this item and it has been amazing, I use it to hard wire all my game consoles and it can connect up to 6 Ethernet cable. Easy to install and connects right away. I would recommend for hard core gamers that don't like the lags when using wifi.

If you need a simple switch for networking, give this one a look. Netgear has been making a (good) name for itself for networking over the years, and they keep getting better. Five ports, Gigabit compatible. Great product in small package.Good price too!

The switch is plug & play. You need to use a category 6 cable to take advantage of the gigabit speed. You also need a gigabit network card. Best switch i've bought to date. I would definitely recommend.

I needed an inexpensive yet reliable Gigabit switch from Netgear which is a company that makes some of the best switches and routers around. This unit works great and requires no knowledge to use.

Truely a plug and play device. Has worked flawlessly for the two years since I bought it, Great when your router is just short of a few ports. Very reasonably priced as well.

This unit is very compact yet so far powerful enough for what we need it for at the office. Although we have not measured the speed it can deliver, it is sufficient for the printers and the server we have hooked up to it. The price is also very reasonable.
