The design is simple but efficient and elegant for its plainness. The manufacturer has a reliable or even stellar reputation, and that brings solid comfort and purchase confidence to the consumer. The design is aesthetically pleasing, and the product's performance is outstanding and without blemish. I have used such before and will continue to patronize this and other merchandise from this vendor for reasons previously listed.

The "NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch - Blue" is a tried and true classic switch. I have purchased many of these over the years for various applications in different buildings, and have never had any issues with any of them. A plug-and-play device, this switch only requires a power outlet and an ethernet patch that's connected to your local area network, and you're all set. You instantly now have seven new ports in that spot. I am a "NETGEAR guy" and will always recommend their products.

It's a plug and play ethernet switch with no additional setup required. Use Cat6 ethernet cable or faster to use the switch to its full speed potential.

Gave it 5 star since I have nothing to compare it to. It does what I need it for, ran Ethernet cable from fiber optic modem to Ethernet switch which supplies high speed to my home entertainment center, tv, 4k player and receiver. Improvement of hardwired over WiFi.

Easy to setup and all lines have very fast internet

This is a nice 8-port unmanaged switch, which is low profile and sits unobtrusively behind my monitor. The price was great and the unit feels well built.

The Netgear 8-Port hub does exactly what it's designed to do with no frills and simple setup. My living room has several internet enabled devices and this hub allows me to connect them all without relying on wi-fi, allowing higher speeds and more stable connections. I have two consoles, a smart speaker, a smart tv, a security camera hub and a NAS storage drive all in use and have had no issues. I chose this 8-port hub over other brands and models because it offered a Limited Lifetime Warranty over the 1-Year Warranty included with the rest.

Plug and play plenty of sockets no issues premium brand

It's an unmanaged switch. If you want VLans and such, you'll need to buy the managed one. So I have the Playstation, XBox, server, Google Chrome Cast / Stadia (RIP), TV, and Etc all connected to this thing running to a single jack. WiFi 6 is fast but the wired connection is more reliable. It's been running since I bought it. I have no lag in my games. All my streaming services play great. It was a great buy at Best Buy!

needed something to hook up two computers and this worked perfect. speeds are great as well.

This was easy to set up and had just enough connections.

New router had two less ethernet ports than old one. This switch gives me all the ports I need with gigabyte speed. I always buy Netgear switches for their reliability.
