Just what I needed for a small smart home center. Provided the extra ports that I needed and has worked great so far. Extremely easy to setup and maintain needed speed.

NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Unmanaged Switch - blue is a very friendly and heavy-duty switch. If you need a simple-to-use unmanaged switch that will expand the ports on your WiFi or WiFi Mesh router or business node, it can't get much easier than NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Unmanaged Switch - blue. Plug it in, plug in a patch cable between your Wal connection, modem, or WiFi router. NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Unmanaged Switch - blue will do the job, and you have 7 additional ports to use with your games. It certainly helped me out with expanding my new Mesh WiFi system to connect all of the computers and network devices in my media room and many more uses in the house. You can't ask for better, for you got it and for a fair price. I'm going to buy it again.

Have been using for years with excellent results. The number one characteristic with these devices is their reliability.

Easy to use and with the amount of cords I need easily fills this with room to spare. I have had no lag problems, outages or hiccups. This has made my life so much easier then running splitters from my input lines directly from the box. Great Job

Purchased this hub to connect gaming systems to a wired network rather than using Wi-Fi. Performance is very good and allows our systems to download and run games very well with no noticeable impact to each other. Would certainly purchase again if needed.

Solid with a nice weight to it. Connections are firm and with 8 ports…don’t have to worry about running out for a while. Got it on sale so even better.

I have a home office with a lot of network devices - a raided threadripper, raided NAS, wifi6 hub, laser printer, voip box, and sundry development boards. This switch connects them all with great speed, and it is rock solid. Get one.

Great switch. Works well to connect several devices like gaming consoles , tv, and wireless hubs. Plug it in, connect your Ethernet cables, and you are good to go. It is that simple!

Quiet, not hot, and very fast. Works great with eero for expanded ports. Purchased it for more ports with eero, printer, NAS, PS5, and Roku Ultra. Works like a champ!

Had this for about a year now and it works great. Have 3 different computers hooked and have no experiences of reduced download speeds.

Solid, metal, stable, and name brand - why would you order another switch? Yes, they are slightly more expensive than some other 8-port switches can be, but you get what you pay for!

Already purchased (2) 4-Port NetGear Gigabit Switches in last 3 weeks. Purchased this 8-Port NetGear Switch to keep in reserve for anticipated future use. When we moved into our new home 5 years ago, prewired the whole home with Cat 6 cable and installed a whole home LAN(local area network), along with fiber-optic Internet. This year started expansion with (2) LG OLED TV's a Rachio 3rd Generation Sprinkler Controller Wi-fi enabled, Tivo TV boxes along with an outdoor digital antenna. All these new devices needed more cable connections chose NetGear switches the BEST for their ease of installation, reliability and well known Plug & Play. They just work! Connect them and forget them. Extremely pleased with their peformance. Purchased the 8 Pperformance switch 2 weeks ago.

Works great, easy install. Unmanaged so no settings to worry about. Takes care of all those extra items that need to be hard wires.

Finally hard wired all components including mesh router and it made a big difference, Netgear made it easy. Now I don't have to deal with any disruption to wifi coverage.

It worked well, easy to install. Does what it needs to do, the price is pretty reasonable as well.

There's not much to say about this Netgear 8 port switch. Just plug it in and it works. I have a 1 gig network and I'm getting 1 gig speeds. I had a Netgear five port switch that still works well and needed another few ports.
