I installed two of these switches to expand my home network, using two of the ports on my Apple router. It was extremely simple. I hooked up various devices (DirectTV DVR, Apple TV, Vizio Smart TV, Vizeo Media Streamer, DVD player, etc.) and everything worked seamlessly. Have had them in place for several months now with no problems whatsoever. They look good.

Was setting up additional computers for a nonprofit and wanted to upgrade all connections to gigabit speed. this hub gave enough high speed connections. Working as required. Very happy and recommend if you need additional wired ports.

This switch plugs in and is ready to go. Nothing to configure. The speed is not compromised. Nice product to have on my desk at home where I have a few computers that work off hardline ethernet connections instead of wifi.

If you need more ports to connect devices to, this switch does the job without any setup or complicated steps. It is simple and it works great! Rock solid performance without any management needed. Great solution!

This was a great option for our home. The switch had enough ports for us to continue to provide service to all the rooms necessary and we have not had a break down in speed or service yet!

I purchased this with intent of hooking up my PS4 and U-verse box to the same wire. So far works perfectly. Easy set-up and have owned a similiar switcher from Netgear in the past that hasn't disappointed me.

I’ve used Netgear switches before and they always work outstanding. I’ve had 2 5 port switches in the past but now I upgraded to this 8 port switch. Simply plug and play and you’re ready to go. I like the fact that it plugs from the back instead of the front..more aesthetically appealing.

Good product for the money. I bought two of the units which let me network the entire house. one for the office and one for the basement. One runs mutiples wifi hubs, ( cameras, smartthings) and the office ethernet equipment and connects to the other which allowed the extension of ethernet to other areas of the house that had weak wifi signal.

Work for a small business and these are perfect switches to maintain 1GB speeds on our network. Its a small, unmanaged switch thats reliable and just works, all you'd ask for from something like this.

I needed a high-speed switch for my office that has 8 ports and was easy to set up and operate. This one really worked out great. My internet throughput is much faster and more stable.
