Ease of use claims are understated. I purchased this item because it is easy to install, maintenance free and inexpensive. I brought it home, installed the unit on the network and it worked like a charm. I highly recommend the hub for everyone.

Bought this as a replacement switch for my sonos system.Previous switch stopped working and I wasn't sure this switch was going to work . The forums on sonos website were saying not all netgear switches would work. However after purchase and installation no issues and sonos system was back up and working in again in a jiffy . This switch is all plug and play no configuration was needed.

Very happy with Netgear products ..this switch is very affordable. Easy to use. Using it in a work environment to manage several machines and upgrades on a network simultaneously.

Very reasonable price for an 8 port gig switch. Replaced the old dead one and connected this one without a hitch. Could be made a little more solid, but not a real complaint.

We just finished our basement and I needed a switch. Currently only running it to an Xbox One and a BluRay player. Will be running it to a theater room and computer. I wanted to future proof myself so I went with an 8-port instead of a 5-port. Speed is consistent with my main computer. I have runs of 30-50ft in the basement. Currently using the 30' runs and there is no drop in performance.

Bought this devise to connect data cables in multi-media panel. Easy to use. No programming is needed, just power. Plus and Negative is that the power adapter included is designed to plug into the AC power outlet sideways. This is good for space limitations on power strip. It does not work with power outlets in multi-media panel because the cord off adapter does not allow enclosure door to be installed. I needed to purchase an additional short extension cord to plug into outlet and then power adapter. A power adapter with wired plug end would have worked better.

This switch works very fast and is a great value for the price.

Purchased 2 of the Netgear 8-port Gigabit ethernet switches for an office and support of several devices. The office was very pleased with the replacement of the old switch, as the speed increased greatly and improved satisfaction on download times. The switch has a history file to monitor the stats over time. Would recommend for any small to median size office environment.

Great Router, just plug it in and connect the Ethernet cables and in a minute your up and running. Router has an off / on switch that is handy if you go away on vacation.

Easy to setup. Perfect size with clear lighting. Plugged in an assortment of devices, gaming consoles, PC and television. Al devices responded right away with good connectivity.

I needed a fast switch with a lot of ports. This one has 8, is VERY fast for all my data, and the price was very good. I'm a happy camper and so is my wife now that she has a fast connection.
