Unless you are a business, do not even consider getting a more expensive wi-fi extender than this one. I have the fiber-optic internet and pay for the highest tiered/fastest speeds available offered by AT&T (up to 100mbs). This product will extend your wi-fi up to 1,200 MBS, much faster than any Interest Service Provider will offer you as an individual. Other than the fact it is possible and we will pay for it, I have no idea why they make anything more expensive/better than this and offer it to everyday consumers. Only businesses and people with Google Fiber internet can make full use of this (or people outside the U.S.A. as most other developed countries internet speeds are much quicker than ours). Overall, this is a solid piece of machinery that will handle what you need, my house was slightly larger than 5,000 square foot and it was more than sufficient, I highly recommend it.

I needed to extend my U-Verse wifi signal from the lower level to 2nd & 3rd floor and I talked with Jim about what I needed to do. We looked at a couple different options & felt this would work well. It has provided the extra lift to have everything working nicely.Actually, I positioned it on the 2nd floor at the suggestion of my Geek Squad technician. Thanks.
