I live in an old apartment building where we each can't get our own dedicated internet service. Cable TV and access to the building's wi-fi is part of the rent but my apartment is pretty far away from the office and the wi-fi is real spotty. Buying this item was a big help to finally get me some decent speeds.

I purchased this Netgear product after reading reviews of wireless range extenders. The wireless modem we have in our house doesn't reach all the rooms we need it to and this has completely solved the problem. It was very easy to set up by following the clear instructions and worked immediately after set up and has been working flawlessly for a month.

Boosted signal to the whole 4000 sq ft house, which is great, but still can't play streaming on two tables and smart phones glitch free. Probably need to upgrade to a better router to achieve that. But spreads signal nicely if that's what you're looking to do.

Easily one of the best wifi routers I have EVER owned. Fantastic range, and signal strength. I read other reviews saying they had thermo problems, but I have experienced none. Get this you definiteley will not be dissappointed!

Was having trouble with my tablet picking up internet service in parts of my home, went to Best Buy and an employee there recommended this extender as an affordable option to do what I wanted done, works like a charm, thanks Best Buy lady!!!

This does as advertised. Extends the range of your Wi-Fi signal. It does not actually boost the signal it simply extends what reaches it. Say you get 2 bars where you install it then it will extend 2 bars further, not boost it up to full strength again.

I needed to be able to connect my home surveillance system to my network for notification purposes, but our new carrier couldn't run a hook-up upstairs without substantial cost. They suggested a wifi extender. I found this one because it included ports for direct input. When I got it home and tried to install it, there were issues. I had to call my carrier who said this sometimes happens and they could help if I called Netgear and obtained certain information. When I called Netgear, they said yes, my problems sometimes did happen, but they could help me over the phone without any more phone calls.. It took about 15 minutes, but I was finally able to connect to my network with Netgear's help. I've been using it now for about six weeks; and after two power failures and one surge (make sure you keep it on a protector), it is still working fine.

husband wanted this so he could get better reception out in his barn which sits quite a ways behind our house. It works great!

I tried quite a few devices from Best Buy but this device allows me to connect wifi with a strong signal from my tv with internet on 2nd floor to my office with the netgear on first floor. I don't have a PC with a hard drive. I have what is called a wyse device that hooks up to a server in another location at the job site.

That may not sound like much to some of you, but we could not even get WiFi in the comfy chair in the living room. With this great extender, we can get great wifi everywhere and were even able to put in a Roku in the living room TV where before we couldn't even get a laptop to work. So very glad we bought this product!

Simple set up, works great! & works as advertised.

Fios router is located 45 feet behind 2 walls and the extender provides full coverage throughout the whole house. Setup is easy.

Does great job on 5ghz channel and ok job on the 2.5ghz. Well worth the price though.

This is the third range extender I have owned and while it is an updated version of previous I don't see any true increase in performance over previous models. It was fairly easy to set up and get running but not any easier or more difficult than previous models.

Our wireless signal at our church was very weak and I was able to add this at a computer connection in our sound booth so that now we have good wireless coverage throughout the church. Setup as an access point since I already had a router and was up and running in just a couple of minutes. Setup was very easy

I like it. I was expecting lightning in a bottle though. It works well. I have the fastest Comcast and feel it should be faster.
