This range extender will get the job done. Good price and sends out a nice strong signal. A word of caution though, as with any range extender out there, avoid putting very many devices on it. If you don't overload it with connected devices then these perform very well. Keeping to 1-3 would be recommended.

Once I found a good spot for Extender, it works fine for extending the range of my old ISP access point. My only real negative is that it is not very user friendly. The instructions were OK for initial setup of my laptops, but not helpful when I was trying to figure out an issue I was having getting my iPad connected. I eventually got them all connect but am still not sure how that happened. So I would rate this a 5 for a single device, but not for someone with multiple devices (which I think is just about everybody these days between comps, tablets, and smartphones). Non techies should make sure a techie friend helps them. I would recommend to a friend with the above caveats.

I use this product to add additional access points on a wired network in large spaces. The additional ports are nice for Hard wired devices so I only have one extra piece of equipment for the second site. It can be configured to grab a wireless signal and drop it back to ethernet as well if necessary using a WDS system.

My smart TV downstairs was no longer able to connect to the internet when my cable company change my modem/router. This range extender was highly recommended to me and I set it up and it works great. I am able to connect to the Internet with no problem and it has also boosted the signal when I'm outside in the backyard.

Definitely extends the range of your router and helps you stay connected from outside or in a far corner of your house.

It does exactly what it's supposed to at a long range. Very happy with this product.

I'm using this model as a WiFi Extender. As I add more IoT devices (Ring, Dot, Nest), having full strength WiFi coverage is essential. Adding this extender to my network was very easy; probably made more so because I use Netgear for my main hub.

I ended up going into Best Buy again because the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless-AC Range Extender stopped working suddenly. Best buy honored their guarantee and gave me a new one that has been working great since September. I would've given it more stars if it wasn't for the hassle of returning the first one.

With my daughter moving home, she complained that she could not get her movies to stream in her room. I determined I needed an extender and my researched indicated this NetGear would work. This worked like a champ. I recommend this extender if you need to expand your WiFi in your house.

We bought this to help with the wireless internet dead/weak zones in our home. We now have strong signals where we had no service before and can get service in our backyard. Our smart TV also gets a strong signal. Our service provider is Verizon fios and We have been using this for 2 months with no problems.

does the job. i have a netgear router and just like other reivews it is 30 mbs slower than my home based router speed

never had better wifi. did not realize how bad my reception was until my new netgear ac1200 was up and running. love it!

I purchased this unit to complement my Netgear X4S to better reach my home office. It has a great feature that allows it to communicate with the X4S on the 5ghz channel, all the while communicating with my Surface Pro and other office devices on the 2.4ghz channel. Thus far it has worked seamlessly.

Easy setup. Secure. Excellent signal generation. Did indeed extend internet signal range where other devices had failed.

Well worth the money. I was never able to pick up a good single in my house now I get perfect service everywhere.
