work great for a bridge to boost distance from house to outside usage

I bought this thinking it would work well for me since I'm in the basement and the router is upstairs, but I heard a lot of things about it only working well and efficiently on the floor the router is on. I ended up returning it for a different one that soecified more on the box and in reviewes.

I did alot of research before I decided I would get this unit. Once received I had a little bit of an issue hooking it up but that could have been my network. I will say the directions were a little vague but if you have common sense you can figure it out. Once I hooked it up and connected to the new WiFi signals in the areas I needed the boost I saw a difference. So yes there are different signals but you set up the password and everything, make it the same what does it matter. I say this because some of the complaints were the fact of new signals... now I just SMH. Over all I have had no signal interruptions and the system is seamless. I would recommend this.

Device is A+ cosmetically, and works as intended and advertised. I have a VERY slow internet connection, which was further reduced by using a range extender. Therefore, I have decided to opt for a couple of older dedicated routers by placing them on opposite ends of the dwelling and another in the unattached garage to create a similar coverage as this Netgear product provides. And, did so without compromising our download rate. I would recommend this concept with the routers serving as access points, OR make the splurge for a mesh system.

When this works, it works very well, but there are some gaps/pauses.

This extender was used in a 3200 sq ft home on a different floor than my router and it extended the signal to rooms and places I could not get a signal before it was installed. I wish I had bought it sooner to increase my signal!

This works perfectly. After trying other cheaper alternatives, that sometimes worked, and often needed re set up. I splurged and got this. Now I have 4 bars throughout the house. before I had 2-3 bars downstairs. Also the 4 wired ports are a godsend to my xboxone multiplayer experience.

This is really doing a great job for me. I needed to increase wifi strength in my house and I just put this in the middle of my 3 bedroom house and it works perfect. Was so easy to set up and you could't ask for a better one this is the one.

This Range extender is able to boost the signal for all our Wifi based electronics. The modem is located on the second floor over a garage. Because of the modem location the signal is nonexistent on our first floor. The Extender boosts the signal to the maximum. Good choice for us!

In our 2200 sqft home, the master bedroom had terrible wifi connection. Our apple tv and smartphones would constantly drop. I plugged in the unit, connected to the wifi router, and was up and running within minutes. No more issues, problem solved. Definitely worth the investment.

Generally I would just buy a router and play with the settings to make a range extender, but this comes ready to go with more options and ports than any I've seen. Set up was relatively easy and it definitely increased my range.

This range extender was the answer to my Wi-Fi cell problem when working around the house. I am now connected up to around 150ft from the same side house my extender is in and all throughout my 2 story. Just amazing using 5g.band.

The range extender did it's job. However, I was extending the range of my Att mifi device with the Netgea extender and it used about 200mb of data a day just to connect to my mifi wirelessly. Not good when you are on a data allotment.

Before getting this item I had a dead stpot throughout my house. After hooking it up no more dead spots.

Love this! Our internet connections especially on our phones work much better. Wish we had bought one sooner.

I am using this to wirelessly connect my PC from my cable modem/router combo. This is a great unit to help break you from having to be wired in or from having to run a cable to a room that isn't wired. My only complaint is I have it set up for both 5G and standard wireless connectivity. My 5G will drop sometimes from my modem and this router doesn't seem to reconnect to the standard wireless. This causes my PC to show I am not connected to the internet. This doesn't happen often, but enough it can be frustrating. Not sure why it won't switch to standard when that happens, but it is otherwise a great extender. It was very easy to setup and the instructions were excellent. If you are not tech savvy, this is pretty simplified that you can do it with little difficulty.

I was having problem down loading and streaming. I thought it was the cable Co. This fixed the problem.

Love this router. Still have it after over a year now.
