I was a little skeptical at first,but I plugged it in. Set up was super easy then I just moved it to where I wanted it. I now connect all over my house. The signal strength is great. If my internet service itself was better it would be perfect. This is a great buy.

This range extender works really well. Our previous extender would constantly dis-connect from the router. We have had this extender in use for about 2 months and it has stay connect the whole time. The signal it provides is strong and constant.

The extender works excellent. I live in a fairly large 2 story home where TV with ROKU always had problems in the basement. Not any more. Four WIFI bars throughout the entire house now.

Our previous wifi extender we purchased from Best Buy quit wanting to connect for whatever reason so we ran to the store, bought this one on a whim because it was on sale. Easy set up, great range, no problems thus far. Works like a charm.

Set up was easy. The only thing I don't like is you have to find and sign in to the wifi extender. It should be automatic. I have to select it. Otherwise it is great.

This was a replacement for a weaker extender and this one is so much better. Solid connections and it was very easy to setup. Highly recommended.

It is great for the primary purpose we bought it for... namely that our wifi router is in the basement and we need to extend the signal to the second story of the house. Unfortunately I paid the extra money to be sure to get an AC wifi extender because i wanted to extend both our 2.4 Ghz & our 5.0 Ghz signal from the basement throughout the house. The 5.0 signal is too weak to reach the whole house. (It is noteworthy that I'm not 100% sure this is the fault of the Netgear unit. It could be the fault of my actual wifi router.)

We have had good luck with this range extender and setting it up with our network was not complicated and took no longer than 10 minutes.

Needed to boost signal from upper floor to basement. Did a good job. Had to restart it once because it dropped the signal. Other than that able to stream Netflix and MLB.tv well.

I needed a good WiFi extender. Several places rated this high. So, I bought it. I am not disappointed. It does have good rang, on both 2G and 5G. Easy setup. What more can I say.

This extender provides greats speeds and wifi range . Only problem I have had is that ocassionally the 2.4ghz will not work. Works again when unplugged and plugged back in

I have it in our shop. It's a metal building I have it near the door and it works great. I always wanted a review that would tell me if it works in a metal building. Well here it is it works excellant and the shop is like 200 feet from my home my husband uses it everyday

If you can't afford those crazy routers and wi-fi extenders that you see all over YouTube like me, this product is going to be up your alley. It does it's job for what it's got to use. I pay for 50mbps because my neighborhood cannot have 100mbps lines installed, and my computer was only pulling 0.4 to 2mbps upload, 0.1 to 1 download, so I needed this extender for many reasons. I'm upstairs, the router is downstairs - wifi goes down, FYI, not up, so I get the WORST reception. I use a wifi dongle to connect to wifi on my desktop, which can weaken the connection. I use a lot of software programs, and I take multiple online classes that require strong internet connection to do tests/quizzes (which you can't retake if you happen to disconnect). I desperately needed an extender because moving the router was not an option. Bought this one and this absolutely saved my internet using life. It was easy to install, the instructions were very clear and simple as for what you were to do to get installation ready and finished. There's also several ways you can extend and maximize your connection depending on what you need, and that was a huge help, too. It's pretty much plug-and-go as long as you follow the provided instructions. Came in perfect condition, easy to set up. Absolutely no complaints!

The set up was easy, and while I was only able to link a single device to he extended wifi, it made my home wifi signal better in the point farthest away from the router.

This extender was just what my internet needed. My computer is on opposite side of house from main router and my internet service was BAD. This extender gave me FAST service. So in love with it and it was super easy to install.

Bought this because I moved to a new house and had to rearrange my network. I have a older desktop that has a LAN connection and a network printer I like to use with Ethernet as well. This extender works great to not only allow the wireless bridge at fast speeds due to the wireless AC, it allows me to extend my Wi-Fi out into my yard so I can listen to music while I cut the grass. Great product easy to set up if your a beginner and has great advanced options to customize if your an advanced user.

I bought this for my mom's house. Her cable router is in a back room and it doesn't reach the front of the house. I plugged this into her computer, set the SID and password, and verified it was connected to her router, I had to move it around to get the best combination of range and speed, but it has an indicator on the front that lets you know how the connection is. It comes with a stand so you can mount it vertically or lay it on its side. The set up was easy and the 4 Ethernet ports and 1 USB 3.0 port is nice. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the problem with all range extenders, you wind up setting up a separate network from your main router. The only way around this is with a mesh router, but those cost 3 to 4 times as much. If you need you increase your coverage but don't want to spring for a mesh router, a range extender is the way to go. I like Netgear products, and for the price this one has lots of extras you won't find on the competitions products.

I did not buy or install this myself. But I do know that now I have access to our home network, which we were unable to receive with just our modem from Comcast. Now we can again use our Smart TV, so I am happy with it.

This nice little extender does exactly what I need. It extends the range of both bands from my dual band router. I now have full signal throughout my house & can finally stream video on my upstairs TV with no problem.

House is large single level one with plaster walls and ceilings. Had problems with the older routers providing stable signals to my video steaming TV's. This device made a great difference. Very easy setup and installation.
