I needed a wireless range extender to get better signals in some parts of the house. Rather an add yet another network component, I was able to replace an existing wireless bridge with this. Now I have four devices plugged directly into this netgear device, and significantly boosted the wireless signal to the other end of the house. It took maybe 2 minutes to unpack and set this device up. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. In all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have AT & T WiFi and it doesn't extend to all rooms oin my house or yard. Now I can sit on my front porch or sit in my swing in my yard and use my IPAD. Plus now it has faster speed. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this thinking it would just some how boost the signal of my Att router to improve the connections around my house. Since I keep putting devices that want to connect to my network (garage door opener, sprinklers, speakers, phones, Stereo, dvd players ETC.
I noticed that some of my devices where not connecting or working with their apps. I did not want to spend $400 for a home net system and this Items price on sale of $79.00 worked for me.
This device connects with your existing network and then you have to connect your devices to this wi-fi extender. Disconnecting and reconnecting the devices made set up a little harder, but it did improve signal to some of the devices that are place near to it.
This still means devices that are too far still have no signal improvement. I was hoping this device would just send out a stronger signal to all of my property but it looks like I would have to purchase another one to improve signal on other side of house.

Out of the box, set up and installed in under five minutes including walking from one end of house to other. Both 2.4 and 5 ghtz work great as do the Ethernet ports. Movie streaming no longer buffers. Great product.

Great device, and easy to install. I set this up using my Amazon Fire tablet. Everything is done over the network and internet. It has really increased the range of the wireless network.

I originally purchased rhis item because I wanted to put it in the back window to my house so I could get wi-fi access outside by my pool. The store tech, and another computer geek I know were pretty skeptical about this doing what I wanted it to. Easy hookup, installation etc, and works exactly the way I wanted. O can now stream music and do whatever i want to via wifi. It throws the signal through a back window, and probably about 135 ft. To our pool. All good!

This extender is great, works better than other smaller ones I've tried in the past. However fyi, if you have a lot of devices using wifi already than the extender will only give you a little bit better connection than normal. The strange thing is that the wifi signal strength will always show as high and full bars. Even though you might be expierencing low quality. But take away some of those other devices taking up wifi and your golden. An example of what I have going on at home would be multiple gamming consoles, smart tvs, computers, phones, tablets, ipods, and probably some other stuff that all take up wifi. So an extender for me was only going to do a little bit of good. But I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought the Netgear AC1200 to resolve the issues that I was having due to a weak WIFI signal in several areas of my house. I was constantly trying to fix dropped connections -- not always successfully. With this WIFI repeater, I now have a strong signal throughout the house and have had no dropped connections. Installation and configuration was quick and easy.

I bought the extender to add coverage on the lower level of my home. The original wireless access point is upstairs in my office, but gave a poor signal on the lower level for my laptop, tablet and other devices, The extender has both 2.4 GHz and 4.9 GHz which is great in a neighborhood where there are multiple 2.4 access points. The 5 GHz has better speed and coverage. I love the thing!

Went in for a router extender but bought this more robust router instead. Still have some slow/no spots but overall wifi runs faster. Easy to reboot.

This unit replaced the Ethernet over Power lines bricks, improving the efficiency and speed more than 4 times. No more connections dropped. Its fast, reliable and handles 2.4 and 5 Ghz simultaneously.

I set it up 1st to boost my existing wifi signal which worked great. Strong signal throughout the house. I then decided to reset it up as an access point by plugging it into an extra network connection located at the other end of the house that wired back to my Fios router. It's now set up transmitting 2 additional wifi networks so we now have 3 wifi networks in the house to split up the loading. It works great.

Found it was relatively easy to set up. Followed the instructions and eventually figured it out, I’m not a techie but I was still able to set it up. Works well with Netflix.
