Strong signal works better than any other router I had.

Wow I’m really happy and impressed overall. Really improved the performance of WiFi and streaming. It is worth the money especially if you have an older router and your ISP has been upgraded so you can get the max from your plan

Easy to set up. Understandable directions. Simple password.

I primarily purchased this router for the VPN capability, as it is supported per box. Does not even work. Otherwise, the signal is fine throughout the house and may be what others need in a mid range router.

I have my cable company spectrum free router and I hated it and I decided to buy the router and WiFi separate by the recommendation of Best Buy Sales Reps and I was hesitant for free router vs 2 new items in my home and I now have great WIFI reception of all my phones throughout my home.

Can not get speeds faster than 200mbps. I used it till after the return period because I thought the cable network was just a little slower. I used to get 300mbps regularly with my old surfboard combo. Spend hours on the phone and messaging with both xfinity and Netgear with no change. I even wasted my money on a faster modem thinking it was a bottleneck. Reconnected my old budget sbg10 combo and I’m seeing near 500mbps on a 600mbps plan. I just might smash this with a hammer

This router has done the job I basically expected of it. It has one setback in that it do not have nameserver feature. I think netgear routers do not have a nameserver feature. Other that that issue, it does function okay as a home router. I would give it 4 stars.

set up was fairly easy and router works as promised.

This replaced a Netgear 600. Where I could barely get 85mbps with the old one, this new one gets upwards of ~215mbps. Part of the issue is the inconsistent speeds but that's more the ISP rather than the router. I'm pleased for the price paid.

Makes a big difference. Don't bother buying anything cheap.

It works, probably better for someone who just wants to do a bit of streaming or general browsing. I came into it with high expectations in that it would be good for gaming but when the seconds or milliseconds count it isn’t the best latency wise.

Good coverage. It was difficult to install with COX.

This router was worth the extra price. Finally the wifi works in the upstairs bedrooms. Also the fact that I can cut off wifi signal to a certain device using an app on my phone is perfect for days I want the kids detached from the Internet.

I love Netgear. This is a great modem that gave me great service in the location I bought it for. Easy to set up and use. The app that goes along with it is helpful and makes set up even easier. Great value for the price

As we have added more smart TV's and other devices we needed an upgrade in a router. We live in a condo in a middle unit and this router reaches all areas of our 2 story home. My son set it up easily using the app.
