This extender has served us well. It does exactly what is says.

We've had trouble with WiFi in the North East corner of our house since we moved in 2014. A previous Extender was not capable of maintaining it's connection to the main router. This Netgear Extender was bought to replace the inadequate one, now we have excellent signal and our TV streaming no longer causes a crash in the extender.

Does help extend the range but not as much as I thought it would.

worked well with netflix and xbox sometimes glitchy

I purchased this extender for a security camera, so far it seems to be working very well. My home is brick so for the signal to extend to give me quality pictures and sounds, I'm very impressed.

Worked for me. I was not able to get my wireless router signal in an area in the back of my house, but using the extender I am able to use my tablet in my bedrooms.

I moved into a larger house than I was used to. Went from 1650 sq ft to 5200 and needed some extra oomph. Gives excellent connection on main floor and easy set up

This simple to install device picks up my FIOS router signal ,strengthens it and broadcasts it over two channels everywhere I could not get WIFI before. Remarkable!

Bought this as a backup and or to tie in with the other one I have. Would give 5 stars however had to reconfigure everything after a power outage. Otherwise works good.

Purchased this product because my phone kept going off WiFi down stairs of my home. I also wanted to be able to go outside in my back yard and be on WiFi This product has met my expectations.

Needed to boost our wifi signal into a far room separated by a brick wall from the rest of the house. I purchased the netgear extender because I have a netgear router (wasn't sure if that would make any difference). Very easy to plug in, sync with the router and then move to an area where it could throw the signal a little farther. Easy and no issues since installation, have been using for about a month.

Put half way between router and dead spot and got good reception

I really wasn't sure what item to buy to expand the wifi network in my house but two different Best Buy workers suggested this and it has worked great for me!
