Easy to set up. One word of caution. If you are trying to connect this to a smart tv you may need to reset the tv to factory settings before the extender will communicate with it. Otherwise, I was able to set this up in minutes and get it to communicate to phones, tablets, and laptops. The smart tv took extra effort. Once set up, it works very well.

This AC750 Extender was easy to set up. I had it up and running in less than 20 mins in Extender mode. I used the WPS button and it connected to my Frontier MI424WR router after the 2nd try. After plugging the extender into an outlet in my hallway in the middle of my house I now can get very strong Wi-fi reception to devices in my bedroom which were previously only getting a bar or two of strength. I like the fact this extender is future-proof and supports 5G, even though my Frontier router is currently only a 2.4G model.

This was extremely simple to set up and it greatly expanded the coverage in our second floor. Highly recommended if you want to stream hi-res video or have multiple devices in use.

This product did exactly what I needed to do which was cover the area in my house where the signal was weak. Now I get full wifi signal everywhere. It is easy to setup. The best part was it allowed to join the existing network name so I didn't have to reconnect my device with diff name for this unit. I would have give 5 stars if the price was 20-30 bucks lower.

I've my router setup in my laundry room on 1st floor, my bedroom is upstairs. First off, I got good signal got my 2.0 but not on 5.0 it is easy to set-up if you're inches away from router. After installing I just plugged it in my bedroom and it works. I expected lot high speeds then I'm getting from my sudden link 50mbps with AC1200 net gear router.

I bought this Netgear range extender to extend my wifi coverage. I have to say it has extended the range better than I thought. I have it out in my garage and I can still pick up a signal on the far side of my house. Even pick up a good signal all the way to my garden. Which is about 120ft away or so. I have no problems connecting to my network. It was quick and easy to install. Even carries the name of the router and password I have set up for the router. Just plug it connect to router and your done. I have had it for about a month now and I'm pleased with how it works.

I now have successfully used this extender in two locations: between two summer cottages and at home, to halve the distance between the router in the basement and an office on the 2nd floor. The summer cottages are about 90 ft. apart, so the range was sometimes intermittent. For the home application, the extender was plugged in on the first floor, it senses a 3 -5 bar signal from the router and relays that by an equivalent strength to the second floor. So it's performance is good for moderate distances. It is also convenient to use, since you just have to plug it into a receptacle midway between your router and the computer. The set-up instructions were not difficult to follow, but you need to be patient as the extender takes a few minutes for all the indicator lights to signal a connection. However there was one gap in the instructions: If you setup the extender on one network, you will need to reset the extender before using it on another system. Even after being unplugged from the summer cottage for two weeks, the old network name and PW was retained. Therefore I could not setup the extender on the new network until the old one was canceled with a reset.

Was looking for a inexpensive extender that would get the job done. This product does that and more, not only did it extend my routers range but it made my connection much stronger so there fore my internet is much faster and on top of all that it was super simple to setup. From unboxing to playing on my ps4 with the new stronger connection only took 20 minutes.

I purchased this items with high hopes that it would extend the range of my router. Yes, it did do that. In fact, for the first 3 weeks I had the extender I was 5 Star happy. Then, after 3 weeks, my Kindle Fire would no longer connect to the Netgear extender. I had no issues with any of the iPhones in the house, or our Amazon Fire Stick, but no matter how many times I rebooted my router, extender or Kindle, it would not authenticate. I spent 2 hours with Netgear tech support to no avail. After doing and redoing everything I had tried before, his final answer to me was that the extender wasn't compatible with Kindle. Funny...it worked beautifully for 3 weeks, with absolutely no issues. Go figure. That being said, I am keeping the range extender, because it does work, allowing me a wi-fi signal on my phone in my kitchen and backyard, where my connection was spotty at best. Overall, I am disappointed.

Bought this because our computer in the office could not get a solid connection to the internet. The router/modem are at one end and the office is at the other corner. It only took 15 minutes or so to setup and after several tries at placement, found a good spot for it to sit. It does what it is billed to do which is all we wanted.

I am impressed by the ease of installation and by the expanded range that the Netgear EX6100 (aka AC750) gives to my home network. I had this up and running within minutes, and the clear directions made it a breeze. That said, the need to manually connect to the subnetwork can be a pain when I'm moving around the house.

The extender was easy to setup and establish both the 2G and 5G extended networks, using the current wifi. After setup I realised the best use for me was to set it up as a new wifi hotspot by connecting it to a wired CAD5 network outlet that I had located in my current wifi dead zone. It works great. Now the BUT.. In both modes it works by setting up new networks with a _2GEXT and _5GEXT added to your current wifi network name. So you end up having to select the relevant new network in order to use it. I wanted to use this so that I could use my Sonos system in a wider area, the problem is Sonos only works over one network and will not switch between the two. I know this is a Sonos issue and not an issue with this product, hence the good rating for the extender.

Compared to other range extenders, this one is better by far. Flexible options allowed me to get max performance. I selected the option to connect to range extender via 2.4 ghz and the range extender connects to my access point in 5 ghz mode. Although using the 5 ghz limits the placement of the range extender, it really made a difference in the performance and it then provides me the additional range to connect to it via 2.4 ghz. I've got more than 4 devices using this extender and it's good enough to watch video and do voice over IP. Been using it a few months now and if it lasts awhile, will give it a five star rating.

My current Netgear router is located in my basement at the opposite side of the house from where I like to use my computer. I had barely one bar of reception. I bought this range extender and I now have maximum reception. It was easy to setup and pair to my router.

Bought this to boost the range of my router. It was a little tricky to connect, because it would not connect automatically to my router. I had to use the manual function to connect it. It was a little tricky, but after I while I figured it out and now it works great. If you have average computer savvy, you can make it work. I did. All our wireless devices all show at least 4 bars no matter where you are in the house. It even works on my outside patio.

I have been frustrated because I had purchased a Wi-Fi extender from another brand, and it would just not connect with any of the devices on a consistent basis. I got this Wi-Fi extender and the minute I plugged in, no matter where it was located everything connected perfectly. I now have 2, in the garage, and upstairs to extend the general Wi-Fi signal where The main is weak. Very pleased with performance
