Our wireless internet wasn't reaching all areas in the house. I went in for a new router, but was told about this extender. And it works great! This was cheaper, and easier to hook up than a new router would have been!

Easy to set up and works well but for shorter distances. Probably should have gotten the better version.

I was having problems with an older Wi-Fi extender and this unit was well matched with my nighthawk AC1900. Installation and set up was very easy and all my devices hooked up to it with excellent signal strength.

I purchased this device for my work network. It was easy to set up and expands our signal very well.

I had an old wi-fi router that didn't get put out enough of a signal for my back-room office. My work requires good, reliable high speed connection. This extender came highly recommended by a number of sources I always consult: Tomsguide, PCMag, Techradar and CNet. It performed flawlessly, was easy to install and boosted my downstream speed in my office by about 45%. I didn't need it long, as I replaced my old router with a Linksys from Best Buy, but the Netgear range extender is handy on the shelf should I need it again. I'm very invested in cyber security so I don't recommend using the WPS setup button. If you can handle accessing the interface, then do the settings yourself and set a hard password. I set it up as an extender on its own separate subnet.

Easy setup and good performance. Haven't had any issues, worth the $45 I paid for it.

I really needed a device that would give my IMac and Xbox One the same quality signal that all my other devices had downstairs by my router. This little extender has done the trick. Now my Xbox does not lose connection, ever! Also, I can use both devices at the same time without there being any interference. (proximity between both are very close). If you need quality and performance with reliability of signal, this is the product to buy!

This wifi extender is extremely easy to set-up. It has great range and signal strength. The Ethernet port is great for connected DVD player and satellite boxes that are used for streaming.

Installed this at my house and one at my father-in-law's house. We are both very happy with the extra distance our wi-fi now extends. It was very easy to set-up

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is it installs like a 'Windows/PC' device, if you are using WEP on your router - like most folks, then the install is ridiculously laborious and difficult. I'm sure the geeks will call me an idiot but I'm telling you, no way a MAC programmer designed this installation protocol. Anyway, once you suffer through the setup it works fantastic. I now get full Wifi bars throughout my house.

In a small house with the best WiFi through Comcast, cannot get proper signal to the bedroom. This extender works great. Super simple setup and now have full bars in the furthest spot.

This wireless extender was easy to install and gives us a decent signal in a detached work space.

I bought this Netgear to upgrade an old, slower wireless Netgear router. This new one is faster, handles more devices, is easier to use, and has a nicer design. I am quite satisfied with my purchase

I was having problems with my wireless connection to my smart TV. Trying to watch a movie on netflix, Amazon, or any other provider was impossible. The buffering was continuous. Could not use a wired connection because wireless modem is in my den and the TV is in the living room. Comcast wanted to install another internet connection in my living room and i would have had to pay for 2 internet connections. Found out about this wifi extender and problem GONE! No buffers at all. Very Happy!!!
