This small device is a great option when your router is placed away from your main devices. With the router located in a basement game room, it was difficult to receive a good signal throughout the house. Now I am able to use my laptop in the sunroom and second floor office space without any problems. The extender plugs into a wall socket and is out of the way. Good advice from the Best Buy sales staff.

Gave this range extender to my parents and they couldn't have been any happier. They no longer have to walk/move around the living room looking for a stable connection. Item was a little finicky when we initially set it up, but after a couple of troubleshoots, it worked as expected. Great buy and I'd recommend this to all my friends and to anyone who's looking into getting better wifi coverage in the house.

Works great. Easy to set up. Takes a few minutes. Able to get wifi in spots in the house that I was unable to get before. Even works on my porch.

This item really extends your wifi range. I can place it anywhere in my house to receive a signal. I don't have to move it though. All you have to do is plug it in and forget about it.

This extender works great in my basement where I wasn't getting a solid wifi connection. It does require that you change connections to the extender itself for use. I have noticed a small lag when using the extender even when service is showing full bars. Probably not the best for gaming or streaming movies, but definitely does the job for surfing the web in those low wifi spots in the house!

It gave us coverage to our finished attic that didn't have any coverage. I left mine with the ext extension when I set it up. Setup was simple and only took about 15 minutes start to finish

I recently purchased a smart TV and I noticed that the TV seemed to be a little slow. The wireless router is in another part of the house. Rather than go through the trouble of moving the router I decided to buy this range extender. It plugs directly into an outlet and requires no other connections. The set up was a little complicated but I called the toll free number for Netgear and they quickly walked me through the set up process.

Great product no complaints whatsoever, does what it says it would. Kicked up the signal for my Netflix in a basement bedroom thats in a back corner, movies now play uninterrupted

Wifi router is in a far end of the house. This takes that signal and rebroadcasts it from another location under a new name. Great. Works. Whole house has coverage now. Took off one star because the software set up was a bit glitchy, and took some repeating of steps. But, once set up, works like a charm.

This device was very easy to connect. The wifi signal is now reaching from the back of the house to the basement, making the big screen smart TV every enjoyable.

Set up was really simple. Connected right to a Cisco AP. Can now get excellent coverage all over an older two story house. Well worth it when family came to town for Christmas.

Our Wireless router would barely get signal into the next room. We bought 2 of these suckers, put one at the other end of the house and the other on the 2nd floor. Now we get can use the internet across the whole house just like in the commercials! One of the extenders does lose signal infrequently, but the other has been mostly reliable. Good purchase, saved lots of frustration.

Had a dead spot in the house and this thing extended the signal to really boost it. It actually covers a huge portion of the house. Setting it up was super simple, just follow the basic instructions and it was connected in less than five minutes. I am also not tech savvy

This extender works great. Easy to set up and totally improves the wireless reception and quality of the internet connection speed. It's on the second floor with the main router on the first, and if you have a less than adequate phone or computer it will lose the one on the opposite floor most of the time. My apple products connect flawlessly and never lose connection.

I was hoping to improve the performance of my Roku system which is located pretty much as far from my router as it could be in my home. The extender seems to be boosting the signal in the room, but the connection on the Roku still drops from time to time. I'm not sure it is a WIFI issue or just an unsteady signal through the cable modem.

It works as intended. East to install and very inexpensive

Was very easy to setup and worked exactly like it was supposed to! Wifi signal very strong and now reaches a back room and workshop that used to get a very weak signal.
