This product has a very, very short battery life in high traffic areas. The Manufacturer states that it is meant for low traffic areas were it will only be triggered to record 3 or four times a day. Batteries last less than one week in high traffic areas. This is not disclosed on the box or general product literature.

The cameras themselves are great. Love the fact that these are wireless, store footage on the cloud with the option to download locally into the computer/phone, and are easy to set up but, their downfall are the batteries. I have to replace them for each of the 4 cameras at least once every 3 weeks and trust me, they are not cheap! In my opinion, these cameras are NOT SUITABLE for businesses, only for a house with minimum foot traffic but even still, the batteries are a costly problem.

The batteries that came with it only lasted 2 weeks . Each camera uses 4 batteries at a cost of $17-$20, multiply by 4 cameras= $68-$80

I have only had these up for a couple weeks now, but I love them. The recent app update has made it even better. Time will tell how well the batteries will last. Set up was super easy. Great quality picture. Perfect for my front porch where I don't have power.

Follow the setup instructions and all will be great! Perfect system for my home use and one that I would buy again in a heartbeat. I don't need anything overly fancy, but the core capabilities of this system are just what I needed. After reading reviews of the battery performance and methods to extend the period of use, I am very happy to report I am seeing great results. One of the cameras is mounted outside over 300 feet from the base station and while the signal is almost non-existent, in my case I still get a good image with only infrequent (failed to connect) error messages for that one camera out of the 4 I purchased. Not a huge deal and the performance at that distance is far greater than I ever expected! One item I did find is that bees in immediate proximity to the camera will set off the motion sensors while likely being gone by the time the recording actually begins. Same for birds. People, however seem to be recorded every time with minimal lag-time. Like I said, great system for the price and EXTREMELY easy to setup if you follow the directions.

Works well even in darker rooms that make it look black and white. With modest light levels the colors are very good. There is a delay at first recording, and you only get 10 second clips stored at free monthly level with 5 cameras or less. The email warnings received are nearly instantaneous with movement.

Camera works well and you can check it anytime. Good camera for the price. The app features gives you total control.

These work perfectly outside of my home. Live viewing with the app is nice. The only complaint I have is sometimes there is a slight delay in tripping the record. If you had it pointed at the road and a car went by at 20 mph it would start recording too late. Most things you might be interested in don't move too quick so it generally isn't a problem. You can set up 2 cameras in the same area and have motion on one trigger recording on the next if that is a problem

If you really want a wireless camera, this is it. Video quality is very good HD quality. Camera connection to the base is strong. My house is 2000 sq foot one story and I have the cameras on each corner of the house. One of them only have 2 bars and is still working as if it has full signal strength. Thats a plus. Would recommend it. Mount it high because of its magnetic base.

Gives me comfort knowing I can see what’s going on outside of my home when I am not there.. Love these cameras, picture is clear.. The only thing I wished it had was a longer recording time 10 seconds is to quick!!! But other than that they are great!! Easy to install easy to work..

We initially purchased the Swann cameras but returned them prior to installation because we found the Arlo and they are wireless. We purchased the four pack of Arlo security cameras. Great picture quality, wireless and can be used indoors and outdoors. Installation is simple. The app for mobile devices is easy to navigate and we can monitor multiple views of our home from any location. You are able to monitor battery life of the cameras through the app as well. Highly recommend this product over other security camera products and price is very reasonable.

We are so very pleased with our Arlo system. It is truly wireless, no AC required. Batteries are lasting well. Simple to install. Took a while to figure out how to program it. All cameras are independent of each other. You do not have to turn all camera on. Setting the "rules" was time consuming. Considering you can place the camera anywhere without having a 110 outlet only a internet router it is very inexpensive. Batteries are a little expensive.

This is the only TRUE wireless (no wire whatsoever) security camera on the market (at the time of this review). I used it outside my house and works perfect. The only down side is its battery. It drains battery so quick. Other than that, it's great and it's cheaper than Nest Cam (which I have one as well).

When triggered by movement, was too late in starting up to even see who or what triggered the camera. Usually just showed nothing. Did not do the job we needed to be done. Picture was good and cameras fairly easy to set up. This camera was not for us.

Love the ability to access live footage and recordings from mobile phone. Only issue is when it picks up movement. Something coming directly toward the camera may not be picked up until it is right on it. May take some creative placement. Overall fabulous for the price

Pro: easy to install (truly any idiot can do it) Clear pictures during day light hours. Love the add rule button. When motion is detected on one camera you can program several to record. No problems with the cameras staying on the magnetic anchor even during some major storms (we live in Texas) Cons: took several days of testing for the right sensitivity setting for each camera Night time recording is not as good as I would have like Baterries for the most used cameras (first month before I think I figured out the sensitivity settings) went out in just over three weeks. The other cameras still have original batteries and are full. Because it depends on wi-fi when it goes out the cameras don't work. (Kind of a given but would be nice if they had a back up chip that would record and save when wi-fi was down)

Don't expect to record all day, but works great. The wireless feature is perfect and remote view live and record with motion sensor is exactly what I needed. Small business might want to record all the time but that will drain the battery quickly. On normal home motion sensor schedule the batteries can last month's. Buy bulk batteries online for more active locations.

I am really happy with the arlo cameras. They were easy to install. No problems getting them registered and had video feed to my iPad and phone in no time. The video is good quality. Battery life is inpressive. Plan to buy a couple more in the near future.

Camera's were easy to install, visual images clear and knowledge of technology to activate was relatively simple.

The 4 camera set from Best Buy was the best deal I found. Setup was simple, battery life has exceeding my expectations and there is a little more peace of mind around the house. This set comes with 1 adjustable mount which works much better than the magnetic mounts. Only drawbacks are a slight lag in motion activated recording and being limited to one admin user. You can also only have one login in at a time per user account.
