Bought this to upgrade from cable company provided unit. so far happy with purchase.

Little expensive but does the job! Sits upstairs and still get good connection in the basement.

The item works better than what I used to have, it did eliminate the modem that I was paying for, but there is still some buffering on the video playbacks, but not sure if that is from the tv company or the internet company or the placement of the modem itself? but otherwise it works good

I recently upgraded to high speed internet from my cable company but did not want to pay their monthly rental fee for their cable modem/router. This Netgear model was a much better option. Not only will it pay for itself in 1 year, it's a better unit, too.

I like that this unit has 90 Day free support from Netgear. 1 month in our wifi stopped working. Called Netgear and they had me do a hard restart. Unplug everything and then plug everything back in. That fixed the problem. Whatever it was. Range is good.

We were having lots of trouble with our wireless and decided to try a 3rd party modem instead of the one provided by the cable company. What a difference! Our wireless has never been better. Easy to set up and use, and we’ll never go back. Worth every penny.

They are always stocked with audio video necessities that are needed on a random day

My router was easy to hook up and makes things happen faster than the one Comcast supplied me.

Was having Xfinity internet installed the next day and went in to purchase a reasonably priced router modem combo. Martin did a great job of helping make suggestions based on my needs and this router is AWESOME! Super easy install and set up. Would recommend to anyone.

this is a great modem-router that is build tough and handles high speed internet with many devices connected the initial cost is a little high but it pays for it's self over time instead of paying the cable company monthly rental fee that never ends

We purchased this NETGEAR Modem as a replacement for a Spectrum Modem. It works great. WIFI is excellent along with streaming of ROKU on several TV's. Highly recommend this model.

Plugged it in, turned it on, haven't had a problem since! Replaced the modem the cable company charged me for every month, and it's run flawlessly - it will pay for itself by avoiding the monthly rental charges!

I just signed up with Comcast for high speed internet after dropping Frontier. Reason being, I couldn't get any speeds above 16mbs with Frontier which is unsatisfactory for what I do. I didn't want to rent the modem from Comcast so I decided to buy one instead. So far this modem is just awesome. Easy to hook up and I just did the activation online via the Comcast website and I was up and running in no time. The download speeds are fantastic and this modem does work with magic jack. Downloading updates for my daughter's Xbox 1 now takes minutes and not hours and that's via Wifi. I personally can't say enough about this modem. The 4 Ethernet ports are a big plus since I use 3 of them. One to connect my wife's pc, one for my mac and one for the magic jack. The Wifi speeds and excellent also and connecting all the devices are quick and easy. Now I can see why Netgear is rated so well. So glad I purchased this modem...

After trying 3 other good types too I heard about this product and I read its detailed specifications to recognize in the end that all what I need is available in this one. The speed is really very good plus keeping the high speed even when you have 6 devices on your Wi-Fi.

Had a pretty bad modem before this definitely liked it when from 30-20mbps to 90-120mbps

This took my wifi from the slowest *with the cable company's modem) to the fastest it could be. Cable company said we were at the end of the line which is why the Internet output was so slow, but when I installed this it couldn't get any faster

This was easy to set up, but we did need to call the cable/internet company first.

My son picked this out to replace what we had that could no longer meet our needs no problems so far

Never had issues with this modem. Works very well with Comcast internet provider!
