bought this modem gateway for my in-laws to replace a failing modem/gateway. works great and had it installed and running in a few minutes.

the fastest so far. what was i doing before this? ive said enough but i have to reach the minimum word limit. let me check to see if i did yet.

The netgear name stood up to its standard. After going through two other router combos this one finally got the job done and with ease of set up.

It's a great router. The last one I had had trouble reaching through a thin door 40ft away and this one zips right through it (like it should).

Was able to use this modem with the built end router. No renting from the cable company which adds an additional cost.

It’s fast to set up. Works great. Looks good, maybe a little big. Instructions are easy to follow. Managing set up is easy as well.

I have 300 MB Time Warner cable at home, and this modem is compatible with it. It has wireless router built in, and it's quite strong. 1 GB of file can be downloaded in less than a minute. This is light year ahead of DSL or the good old days of dial up (ha!) It's fairly easy to set up and you can save the set up file onto your computer, too. There are a lot of options and its best to leave some of them alone. The wireless has two bands - and either one can be 'hidden'. Seems to work through the thin wall and onto another floor of our apartment.

Easy set up you and much better than renting from cable company. MUCH faster than equipment they rent to NEVER own!!! Wish had purchased sooner.
