I purchased this modem-router expecting to have full wireless range in my home, but I only get a signal in about half the home (and it is not a huge home). I had to purchase a range extender to remedy the issue.

One the best Netgear Routers on the market supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz bands!! Strong signals on both much better than the competition!!

It’s fast to set up. Works great. Looks good, maybe a little big. Instructions are easy to follow. Managing set up is easy as well.

With a Netgear booster this has the power to cover a Ring doorbell, 2 laptops, an iPad and 3 cell phones on a 2 story with a basement home.

It's a great router. The last one I had had trouble reaching through a thin door 40ft away and this one zips right through it (like it should).

Excellent Modem to replace the one the cable company provides. Provides a strong signal around the entire house. No need for a Wifi Extender.

I have 300 MB Time Warner cable at home, and this modem is compatible with it. It has wireless router built in, and it's quite strong. 1 GB of file can be downloaded in less than a minute. This is light year ahead of DSL or the good old days of dial up (ha!) It's fairly easy to set up and you can save the set up file onto your computer, too. There are a lot of options and its best to leave some of them alone. The wireless has two bands - and either one can be 'hidden'. Seems to work through the thin wall and onto another floor of our apartment.

Easy set up you and much better than renting from cable company. MUCH faster than equipment they rent to NEVER own!!! Wish had purchased sooner.

We had purchased a different router to begin with, took it back & purchased this one. This gives a much stronger signal & is exactly what we needed.

Great Router. I actually pick up more mbps with this router over the junk one the cable company will charge you for. It is a bit pricey though.
