The netgear name stood up to its standard. After going through two other router combos this one finally got the job done and with ease of set up.

Exceptional range! Even with plaster walls. Would highly recommend for cable users over provider devices. Very very good value!

Excellent Modem to replace the one the cable company provides. Provides a strong signal around the entire house. No need for a Wifi Extender.

I purchased this modem-router expecting to have full wireless range in my home, but I only get a signal in about half the home (and it is not a huge home). I had to purchase a range extender to remedy the issue.

This is a nice router and easy set up. However, this should be a plug and use router, but it is very complicated to use with Verizon Fios

I bought this to replace the Comcast model. Easy installation. It works great and all our devices are faster. I recommend this unit.

I have 300 MB Time Warner cable at home, and this modem is compatible with it. It has wireless router built in, and it's quite strong. 1 GB of file can be downloaded in less than a minute. This is light year ahead of DSL or the good old days of dial up (ha!) It's fairly easy to set up and you can save the set up file onto your computer, too. There are a lot of options and its best to leave some of them alone. The wireless has two bands - and either one can be 'hidden'. Seems to work through the thin wall and onto another floor of our apartment.

Easy set up you and much better than renting from cable company. MUCH faster than equipment they rent to NEVER own!!! Wish had purchased sooner.

We had purchased a different router to begin with, took it back & purchased this one. This gives a much stronger signal & is exactly what we needed.

Great Router. I actually pick up more mbps with this router over the junk one the cable company will charge you for. It is a bit pricey though.

I gave it a 4 star because one of the lighting isn't green. It stayed orange since we bought it but for some odd reason my internet still works great.

Terrific router with excellent speed — made ALL the difference in our viewing pleasure & with compatible internet providers.
