Obviously you need a good internet service to go along with it, but it will give you a boost even if you don't have the greatest service.

I was told this was an excellent router. So why is that whenever I open my MacBook I have to wait 30 to 60 seconds for it connect to the internet. Never had this issue with my last router.

Fast internet transfer, slow with attached USB drive. The mounted drive is slow when attached via router - it is fast when directly attached to laptop.

Really satisfied with this router which I purchased to replace TWC equipment. Much better connectivity and eliminated dropped service problems.

Good speed. Just wanted to stop paying Comcast for rental. I had hoped for improved range over comcast rental but it's about the same.

The directions were easy to follow and I had no problem setting it up. I didn't have to contact Comcast during the setup.

This, combined with a good Wi-Fi router, is a solid and clean tool to get super fast speeds at home (with little to no noise on the line).

I love the fact that I don't have to pay monthly payments for leasing. Works faster than timewarners and we have up to 6 things doesn't slow down.

Easy to install, firmware update took about 15 mins. The network share with direct USB connection is fantastic to create a family share directory.

Easy to install and works well with my service provider. The default password is reasonable and not long a convoluted like most others I've tried.

I'm not an expert on modems but this modem/router seems to work faster than the two older pieces it replaces. I'm happy to recommend this product.

This is a good modem for not having to pay a rental fee to the internet provider, It pays for itself in a short time. Netgear is a fast and reliable modem.

This item gave me gas. I mean, lots of gas. Farting excessively for hours...so much so my cushion was not worth the extra effort. There was a train behind the whistle but what whatever...it’s just a total mess. My entire family spent the night on the lawn. That said, this works like garbage but I’ll give it 5 stars because I got the house to myself and did have to hang with those bed wetterz. That’s what’s up.

Set up was fairly straight forward. Just have the MAC address and serial number on hand when activating with your cable provider.
