Moderate price for decent wifi. We like it's all in 1 and dont have to purchase both a modem And a Router since it comes together.

After recently upgrading my ISP from CL DSL to Mediacom Cable it became clear to me that the NETGEAR C6300 (AC1750) WIFI Cable Modem was the right choice. With increasing service rates and rental fees, purchasing a single Modem/WIFI router was a good solution eliminating all rental fees with a single device. The Mediacom installer tried to persuade me that I was going to need the rented modem, however this was simply not true. Setup- Installation and setup were quick with no hassle. Simply download the NETGEAR Genie app. -The NETGEAR Genie mobile App is available for this device, and serves the same function as the router homepage on any web browser. Setup took less than 10 minutes. Performance- Speeds were everything that Mediacom advertised with 115 Mbps down and 28 Mbps up on first speed test. Speedtest.net WIFI- Signals are strong. Connection to either the 2.4GHz or 5.0 GHz are quick and easy with full signal throughout the house. Features - Most of the common router features can be found on this router. A dash board with status, WIFI, 2.4GHz setup, 5GHz setup, guest WIFI networks, USB share, parental control, port forwarding, DDNS, DHCP, UPnP, firewall, just to name a few. One other nice feature is the ability to scan wireless channels to find which channels were not in use. Price - for the combination of what you are getting in Router and modem capabilities coupled with saving the high monthly rental fee I think this item offers a very good value Overall this has proved to be a great two-in-one solution as both a cable modem and router with the added benefit of saving me from a monthly charge for lesser equipment. Yes, this is supported by Medicom.

This item gave me gas. I mean, lots of gas. Farting excessively for hours...so much so my cushion was not worth the extra effort. There was a train behind the whistle but what whatever...it’s just a total mess. My entire family spent the night on the lawn. That said, this works like garbage but I’ll give it 5 stars because I got the house to myself and did have to hang with those bed wetterz. That’s what’s up.

This dual band router is very fast and easy to configure. Light weight and easy to move from place to place. Has great reception power.

What a difference a new router makes. Ditched my Linksys and got a huge upgrade in performance. Super fast downloads with all my devices.

Purchased this router since my last docsis modem/router just wasn't cutting it. This new router is in a cabinet in the front of my home. It reaches the rear of my home between many walls as their is only a small hallway 3 feet wide leading to the rear of my home. House is about 60 feet deep. Install was fairly easy but with Comcast it always seems to be increasingly difficult. Found out later that doing a VPN with this modem is difficult so that was more than frustrating as well. But functions well and downloads a gig movie from Comcast in approximately 3 minutes.

Easy set up and the only difference I see is $10 less a month on my bill. I wish I would have taken the time to purchase one earlier.

Woks as expected, easy to hook up and start using right out of the box. Save yourself the $10/ month rental, easily pays for itself.

We bought this to eliminate renting a modem from the cable company. We've had this for almost 2 years and it still works perfect

This is probably a great product but it doesn't fit in with our other equipment. And that would normally be ok - a live and learn thing. But... My chief complaint is that we spent over an hour with a"specialist" who ensured us this was the product for us and actually convinced us to spend about$75 more than what we had planned. Poor job overall by Best Buy. Guy didn't even know what he was talking about, convinced us to spend more money than even necessary, and the product just didn't work with our other equipment. Wish I could get my money and time back.

It works great most of the time....Every now and then I have to reset it but not often. Definitely works well with all of our devices.
