    I purchased the Netgear system for my home because I was tired of having both a modem and router for internet. The modem was extremely old, and we couldn't get the reception upstairs for one side of the house. We moved our PC into a more centralized location, then replaced our dual Netgear modem! Not only were we able to return our internet provider the modem, but it's saving us charges that we were ensuing with their equipment! Two thumbs up!
