Modem in question

The only issue I have is that there can be interruptions to my service. I’ll call xfinity, they run all the diagnostics and it ends up always being the modem. Not sure how this can be prevented, it gets pretty annoying because it’s always at the most inconvenient time.

Seems to work fine

Also, I wanted to minimize how much the cable company could take advantage of me. This Netgear product seems to be a nice upgrade from what I would be "Renting" from the cable co. The tech people that I know said it is a fine piece of equipment. I am Not overly tech savvy, so I have to trust their opinion.
