    Purchased this because I did Not want to rent the cheap quality one that COX Cable was going to provide me. Also, I wanted to minimize how much the cable company could take advantage of me. This Netgear product seems to be a nice upgrade from what I would be "Renting" from the cable co. The tech people that I know said it is a fine piece of equipment. I am Not overly tech savvy, so I have to trust their opinion.
