After numerous mailings and emails from my cable company telling me I needed to upgrade my modem, we bought this wireless router/modem. Works fine; can't tell any difference from my (much) older units but it is nice to have them combined into one single unit.

It is actually pretty nice modem router which fits most of your needs. I hope everyone will find it useful and have fun with the high-speed internet. BTW, it is 100% working with Time warner cable. No additional question to be ask, just take it.

Replaced my arris dg860 from twc located in my basement, finished with a grid ceiling. All brick ranch home and smart tv would not function upstairs nor would my Roku in another room and no wifi outside at all. Easy install and a quick call to twc and I was good to go in minutes with the net gear app. Every device I have now has max speed inside and out. Tvs now stream perfectly both at the same time. Should have done this a long time ago.

I was having trouble with the internet connection in the house so I decided to purchase a new router/modem. This was the best solution to my problem. We are connecting 2 video games, 4 tablets/computers and a smart tv and everything works fine.

I bought this for my house. The signal is really good. I have xfinity services and Xfinity supports this modem come router. I get very good signals in my basement and also on the second level. Never had any issues with this so far. Its worth the price. Don't go for the cheaper once as they do not work properly. I purchased a cheap one first from the Netgear family itself but didn't serve the purpose. This one works for me and most of my friends. I would definitely recommend this product.

It is advantageous having a dual-band router rather than the modem/router provided by my internet service company - seems to give us faster wireless speeds. I also appreciate the fact that it has WPA2 for Wi-Fi protected access. All in all, it meets our needs.

Netgear routers have a good reputation which I didn't really know until after I bought this. You won't be disappointed. Was easy to setup and I can use the wireless capacity upstairs and downstairs with no trouble or delays. Highly recommended!

I got this new modem, because my last one of 11 years no longer worked, when I plugged this one in thought it did not work In come my nine year old he quickly put everything together tapped a few keys and we were up and running. Then he took the extender in my bedroom and I don't have any fighting over getting on the wifi first.

Plugged in and was online in minutes. WideOpenWest is my ISP and they took the MAC address and it connected immediately. Great wireless connectivity; better range than the ISP provided unit. Has guest SSIDs for 2.4 and 5GHz access (very nice).

Setup was super easy, and had no issues connecting it to our service provider, nor did I have an issue connecting any of my devices to it. I have not had a single problem with it, could not be happier with this purchase.

I don't normally review things on Best Buy when I buy them, but for this one I had to. This is hands down the best router modem combo that I have ever used. I have been so sick of having multiple boxes for modems and wireless routers. To have an all in one that works as well as this one was an absolute blessing! The wireless router part is hands down the best router I have ever used. I can get a perfectly good signal as far away as 100 meters from my house! In addition, with the download and upload speeds the modem provides, my only limitation is the speed of the incoming internet from the cable company. Everything was a piece of cake to set up.

Good upgrade from our last router. Wi-Fi is much faster, no longer have connectivity issues, good choice for the cost

This modem/router was purchased to replace the Comcast rental system. The set-up was incredibly easy as was adding it to the Comcast system. The router strength is sufficient for all areas of a 1600 square foot house.

Was having a lot of issues with my internet provider's modem. Purchased my owned, problem solved. Product definitely did what it was describe to do and beyond, Would recommend this item to anyone that wants to upgrade.

ive never won a fight with Comcast, even when I've been correct about my bill. This time around, I wanted to have my own xfinity compatible modem prior to starting new service, as I was moving soon. We picked this one out, and have been pleased thus far. One thing I like, is it has an on/off switch. If you ever need to reset it, you don't have to unplug it from the wall. It has worked flawlessly since we installed it. Better than the ones you get from Comcast. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to skip the modem rental fee of your internet provider.

I actually exchanged a previous router I bought from Best Buy for this very router. The previous one (don't recall the model) was just slow and the range was poor. When I upgraded to this one, it was light night and day from the prior one. I have a 2000 square foot home, and this router is at one end of the house, and the signal is still strong at the other end, and the speeds are fast enough to run multiple PC's, mobile devices, and streaming TV boxes (Roku, etc.) at the same time. Very pleased with this upgrade.

It's a great Modem/Router! Been using it for some time now and have had no issues at all. I use it with Spectrum 400m/b cable connection and it delivers without any issues. It does tend to get a bit hot at times so make sure it gets air to cool down. It was super easy to set it up and get it going and has never dropped connection with all the devices I use it with.

My old router was not providing me with the data downloads that I needed for my home business. This product was easy to install and definitely increased the throughput of data. Very strong signal throughout the home.
