Instead of paying to rent one from the cable company I bought this one and it works great.

I recently upgraded from a DSL connection to Cox cable internet and decided on this Netgear router. I was able to price match it, so I was able to get it at a lower price than even the sale price listed. And so far, with a smart tv, a desktop computer, 3 cell phones and 3 tablets it has worked like a champ. Highly recommend.

Purchased this so as to not pay a monthly bill to "rent" one from our provider. Set up a breeze; highly recommend.

Much cheaper to purchase than buy for internet service. Great product everyone in 2700 sq ft house has no issues with connecting.

I found this router and modem combo to be very easy to install and it is giving me great speed and constistency. If I find myself in need of another combo in the future, Netgear will be one of the first brands I check out. I would happily buy again.

Had to upgrade my Router/Modem for Comcast and this one was the one I bought. It works great and is incredibly easy to set up.

I was tired of paying Comcast $5/month for a modem/router that was, frankly, terrible. I have a very connected house -- ecobee, Echos, Google Home, video doorbell, numerous Rokus, gaming devices, smartphones, iPads, laptops... I needed something that could catch up. This router came highly reviewed, and I've always been a fan of Netgear products since working in IT. Setup wasn't bad -- called Comcast to provision the modem (though later figured out I could have done this via their new Xfinity app), then once it was online, renamed the SSID & reset network settings to match my former router, so all my devices could just jump back online. I had to reset a couple devices, they for some reason wouldn't reconnect, but of all of my devices, it was only one or two. After installing the latest firmware, this router has performed beyond expectations, delivering 150Mbps without an issue. I work from home and rely on my Internet connectivity, and this has kept up for the month I've had it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for their own replacement!

This modem was easy to install and get all my wireless equipment up and running. I'm not a techie but it was really simple.
