I have Xfinity internet plan that “supposedly” goes up to 250mbps. I’ve always used the modem/router they provided. I have NEVER had a speed test download anywhere near 200! Lucky days, maybe 100. And Yes, I test hard wired in. I always had problems which required me having to reboot that stupid thing multiple times a month and I was at their store swapping them out more than I should have been. Andddd I was paying $11 a month for the headache (their rental fee). I finally decided to buy my own. This new router is FANTASTIC! I have speed test showing high as 300mbps download! Every test is consistently what I’m paying for or BETTER!I love the phone Genie app and the network share. The only thing that bothers me is I didn’t make the switch sooner! We were finally able to switch (with confidence) to be total streaming household. We use Xfinity for internet. DirectTv NOW, Netflix and Amazon prime for TV. This router was a GREAT investment.

Works well for me. Haven't needed to restart multiple times like previous router. Set it and forget it.

This modem its super super fast to streaming videos and movies and pictures and whatever you want at the same time

Easy to set up works well with my internet carries. Would totally recommend if you are looking to upgrade a modem.

The Router and modem together works AWESOME its together and dont have to rent one from cable company

I let the Comcast guy set it up during cable installation. Took him no time at all. Runs like a champ.

I got this to not have to pay cable company rental fees. Its a modem and a router that will pay for itself in about a year.

bought this item because I didn't want to have to many boxes lying around the house. love the option of having the router and modem together. no problems using it with xfinity, save yourself money in the long run instead of renting a modem through them. my boyfriend is thinking of buying one also.

Previously, we had a router and a separate modem that took up space and was just not strong enough. This NetGear product has a strong signal and was easier to understand than our previous NetGear router. Plus, it has the modem built in, which is very convenient.

It does all that I was looking for. Generally easy to install, although not quite plug-n-play, because of extra security features. I now get the full rate that my ISP transmits. All of my devices separately plugged in to this unit are now firmly separately locked and do not drop out.

This is a great device. I bought it to replace a modem I was renting from cable company and I kept hitting my limits and getting charged overages on my bill. I gave them back their slow modem and bought this easy to install and use modem/router and no more overages.

Performed as advertised. The instructions were simple and setup was completed in just a few minutes.

I've had this router/modem for a couple months now and so far so good. Really easy to hook up and get started. I have xfinity and the activation and setup went super smooth. My unit is on 1 floor with 2 bedrooms and I get a great signal everywhere is in the house.

I got the router to build my private family network. I realized that with the Netgear I am well equipped for our needs.

Would recommend this product. Works as advertised and performs as described. Very excellent product.

This was the fourth modem router that I tried before I had one work on a consistent basis. This one works great!

I am very pleased with this modem router device, I picked it out from a list of compatible items from Time Warner Cable and I couldn't be happier. At home we have a several wifi enabled devices, including smart tv's, tablets, smartphones, and cameras. So far we haven't experienced any connection interruptions.

I needed a gateway to reach with a strong signal thru to the basement and back rooms... This one did the trick!

Decided to stop paying a monthly fee for the cable modem supplied by my cable company. For what I paid the cable company in one year I bought this Neatgear modem/router for slightly less. Easy setup and, so far, works flawlessly. Much better than the cable company modem and separate router it replaced.
