Previously, we had a router and a separate modem that took up space and was just not strong enough. This NetGear product has a strong signal and was easier to understand than our previous NetGear router. Plus, it has the modem built in, which is very convenient.

Works well for me. Haven't needed to restart multiple times like previous router. Set it and forget it.

This is a great device. I bought it to replace a modem I was renting from cable company and I kept hitting my limits and getting charged overages on my bill. I gave them back their slow modem and bought this easy to install and use modem/router and no more overages.

I purchased this modem to be done with paying comcast to used there's indefinitely. The installations took about 5 to 10 minutes. It services all my devices with ease. Roku TV, LG Smart TV, mobile phones, Tablets, Laptops. All at once without lag. The only downside is it does not have a phone connection.

Have been using for about a week now. Seems to do the trick with Xfinity. Our plan is for 100 Mbps and we pull ~70 Mbps downstream regularly. We have a long-ish apartment layout (45' in the long dimension), and even in the bedroom, which is on the opposite side (i.e. about 45' away) from where the modem/router is placed, signal is decent (-60 to -70 dBm, 100% signal). And that's going through a couple walls. A couple minor hiccups with connections in the very first day or so, but it seems all smooth now. Netgear's app is also kinda cool for playing around with settings and assessing signal strength, etc. (Note: app not needed for installation.)

This modem its super super fast to streaming videos and movies and pictures and whatever you want at the same time

I let the Comcast guy set it up during cable installation. Took him no time at all. Runs like a champ.

Have had no issues at all since i bought this item! Have 3 video game systems connected to it and they all run great!

I've had this router/modem for a couple months now and so far so good. Really easy to hook up and get started. I have xfinity and the activation and setup went super smooth. My unit is on 1 floor with 2 bedrooms and I get a great signal everywhere is in the house.

It does all that I was looking for. Generally easy to install, although not quite plug-n-play, because of extra security features. I now get the full rate that my ISP transmits. All of my devices separately plugged in to this unit are now firmly separately locked and do not drop out.

Easy to set up works well with my internet carries. Would totally recommend if you are looking to upgrade a modem.

bought this item because I didn't want to have to many boxes lying around the house. love the option of having the router and modem together. no problems using it with xfinity, save yourself money in the long run instead of renting a modem through them. my boyfriend is thinking of buying one also.

Performed as advertised. The instructions were simple and setup was completed in just a few minutes.

After a bit of confusion during setup, the internet provider's technician determined that the folks at tech support had the MAC address in caps instead of lower case. After that, everything works fine. It has good range for my house and is easy to manage.

I got this to not have to pay cable company rental fees. Its a modem and a router that will pay for itself in about a year.
