We purchased the Netgear Dual-Band AC 1750 router for our real estate office because we needed both a router and modem. This router can be either cable connected or wireless. We use wireless for convenience of laptop, cell phone, and tablet connectivity for multiple people in the office. This router is compatible with our provider Mediacom.

Went from 20 MBPS with cable company's modem to over 130 MBPS. Cable company had no problem activating router, but had to call Netgear as could not connect to the internet. Logged into router and firmware was out of date, updated in a few minutes and now it works fine.

It has a great range and Very fast speed. Glad I choose it.

First modem/wifi i bought and is great. I have several devices(8) connecte and on top of that streaming HD movies and still no issues with connection.

Solved the wifi reliability problems I had with my previous router. And the increase in wifi speed was amazing.

When I first purchased this item I was so angry. There were little to no instructions in the box and I had to call netgear 3 or 4 times after they kept hanging up on me. I finally got someone to help me and he was great. Accent was thick but he spoke slow enough for me to understand. I would recommend goggling the item for a key as to what the symbols mean but it works great so far.

Great product, seems to have enough capability for all of my Wi-Fi products to be connected at the same time. Had a little difficulty setting up, but not much.

We purchased the Router Modem to see if it would increase the speed. We were getting from Cable. no one from Comcast (xfinity) had said anything about their modems being out-dated. From the moment we connected the Moden Router to our System we had the speed that was promised by carrier. Great purchase if your modem is two or more years old; older modems are obsolete.

This has been one of the best router purchases I've made. It was an easy installation, and covers all my wired/wireless devices (5/10) in my home with fast 5ghz frequency. It's been running non-stop since purchase, tackling heavy streaming and different types of traffic in-between. Product was a little pricey, but well worth the peace of mind and quality.

Very strong signal throughout my 3 floor home. Very fast and capable router.

Love the dual band, one protected, one a "guest" network. Using it installed on the second floor with an extender to use downstairs..

I originally bought an n600 cable router modem and it wasn't big enough for my 3 story house. I returned it and got this AC1750 modem and it does the job.

Is this the very best on the market? No. But for the price, it has great range and after a month I've yet to experience a drop in signal/service. Bit of advice: Plug into a surge protector. After a storm, the initial purchased router would power on but it wouldn't send out a signal. Got it replaced and the replacement works swimmingly.

Easy to set up, fast and reliable - no need to rent the cable modem

Had a modem and separate router. Router was fried in an update so we decided to give back the modem and bought the combo. Easy call to Comcast to put it on their system. I like the card on the back of the modem with all needed information. Once identified by Comcast, the system has worked flawlessly. I recommend the system. As well, the Best Buy associate recommended this product.
