I also got tired of having a modem and router which is why I decided the combo. Install was easy and the configuration menu is easy to navigate. After I activated it I was getting really close to my specified internet speed. Also my wifi range has aignificantly increased.

Great product to replace Modem/Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product for my parents to replace there Spectrum issued Cable Mode/Router combo unit that they had to pay for monthly. They live in a 2 Bedroom/2 bathroom Condo and it works great for all areas of the condo. It will be saving them money in no time at all.

Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally bought a Surfboard when I upped my internet speed to 300 Mbps, but had many, many problems with two different Surfboards. Exchanged for this router, and it has performed beyond my expectations. I am able to get wireless speeds over 300 Mbps from this router, even while running four hard-wired and six wireless connections simultaneously; no real loss of speed over wifi. The user/admin interface is a little confusing at first (I guess because I'm used to Surfboard) but once you get used to it you can navigate it fairly easily. Many ways to configure the router, and I especially like the way it will show you attempts to connect by users that are not on the "allowed" list, and lets you change them to "allowed" on the fly. Needless to say, I think I've become a Netgear fan after using this router.

Combo Router and Modem

It functions well all things considered. Range on WiFi signal is spotty depending on if you're on 5G or 2.4. 5G travels a good 20-30 yards with no problems in reliability and speeds. 2.4 has trouble keeping a reliable signal past 15 yards. Great speeds overall and UI is easy to use and navigate.

Slow and Steady WIns the Race!

It took more than five (5) calls to the manufacturer for technical support, Finally, it's working as expected.
