Because I went to my cable provider, in person, FIRST to give them the new router/modem information (and reduce my bill) it was easy to install and worked immediately.

I just read easy instructions and well it works. Easier to set up then the carriers' I rented the modem from. I would definitely recommend this product.

Switched from a rented Xfinity router to this one and my wireless range increased by over 300% and the speeds and bandwidth are perfect for any household of gamers.

Good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Netgear-Dual band. to stop paying off the cable company. That's $10.00 a month for renting it. It's doing a good job at it. I wish I thought of this earlier. Better late than never. so anyone who wants to stop renting their modem - router from the cable company, you now have a choice. Good luck
