Recently had to replace my out of date modem and router. My old NetGear product was working, just that the software was out of date so I went ahead and purchased another NetGear product. Easy setup, love the NetGear Genie view to work with my modem/router settings. Easy to login and check (once you figure out what ip it is using).

This Netgear router/modem was the easiest to install, honest. I did not need any help. I just read easy instructions and well it works. Easier to set up then the carriers' I rented the modem from. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought the Netgear-Dual band. to stop paying off the cable company. That's $10.00 a month for renting it. It's doing a good job at it. I wish I thought of this earlier. Better late than never. so anyone who wants to stop renting their modem - router from the cable company, you now have a choice. Good luck

This product has a very strong signal and is very fast.

i had stopped in to best buy to buy a cable modem. i talked to one of the store members, and got some information about modems. after talking with him this is the one i bought. it does not disappoint, and works very well with xfinity. as a matter of fact i get better pings and my internet woks faster through this modem then promised by xfinity.

I kept having my internet drop for no reason. Turns out my router and modem were so old they couldn't keep up. Bought this one and the problem is solved. I did have problems hooking it up to Cox, and spent an hour on the phone with them, but I think the problem was on their end, not with the product.

This router was suggested by the sales clerk, our internet provider sent someone out to set everything up. So far no issues with this equipment.

I replaced my Comcast Xfinity combo modem/router to save $10 monthly rental. Setup was amazingly easy. When I powered it up it automatically connected to Comcast, and Comcast automatically configured it an activated it. I only had to name it and setup password. (Using the same name and password as the comcasat one saves work.)

I'm not really sure how you compare modem/routers - I would imagine any modem router with the same specifications would be as good but essentially I never notice the router at all because it works flawlessly at all times. I only had a problem with download speed on one Sunday and I'm pretty sure it had to be TWC. All other times, just great.

I didn't really have a clue what to buy the associate broke it down and basically told me this would be best for a few years to come.
