Netgear modem/router was a great investment.

I don't pay the $10 a month charge for any Comcast modem/router. With this Netgear product and the high speed Internet I have provided my email and entertainment for my Florida winter home. Life is wonderful!!!

Easy to set up and save monthly expenses!

The employee at Best Buy was helpful in answering questions about what I would need to do what I need to do. This is saving me money, because now I'm not paying an internet service provider a monthly fee for a device that is affordable and easy to use.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not really sure how you compare modem/routers - I would imagine any modem router with the same specifications would be as good but essentially I never notice the router at all because it works flawlessly at all times. I only had a problem with download speed on one Sunday and I'm pretty sure it had to be TWC. All other times, just great.

Got rid of that worthless cable company router

Their router had an effective range of about 60 feet or so. I purchased this router and I can actually go outside of my apartment and still have wi-fi. Service doesn't drop and my download speeds are more than twice as fast!!

I followed the Quick Start instructions and only had to call my IP to hit it and it came up and worked. I did a speedtest and it increased my internet speed about 25% over the IP provided unit. I'm very satisfied with the purchase .

This is a quality router for Comcast service and will last just long enough to benefit from the savings of not renting a unit and until Fios arrives in my area. Current service is 100 Mbps.
