    I invested in this product to save money in the long run with my Internet only package with high speed provided by Comcast. I don't pay the $10 a month charge for any Comcast modem/router. With this Netgear product and the high speed Internet I have provided my email and entertainment for my Florida winter home. Life is wonderful!!!

    It was easy to figure out how to get connected using this wireless router/modem. The employee at Best Buy was helpful in answering questions about what I would need to do what I need to do. This is saving me money, because now I'm not paying an internet service provider a monthly fee for a device that is affordable and easy to use.

    Got rid of that worthless cable company router

    Trying to lower my cable bill, I decide it was time to also dump the worthless router from the cable company!! Their router had an effective range of about 60 feet or so. I purchased this router and I can actually go outside of my apartment and still have wi-fi. Service doesn't drop and my download speeds are more than twice as fast!!

    Very easy to install, plug in the power and your coax/Ethernet cables, then open a browser and login to your Xfinity account to activate. This is a quality router for Comcast service and will last just long enough to benefit from the savings of not renting a unit and until Fios arrives in my area. Current service is 100 Mbps.

    I purchased the router/modem to replace my IP unit to save the monthly rental charges. I followed the Quick Start instructions and only had to call my IP to hit it and it came up and worked. I did a speedtest and it increased my internet speed about 25% over the IP provided unit. I'm very satisfied with the purchase .

    Purchased it as a replacement for the standard modem that was provided by my isp. Should have done it earlier. My connection is better, better range and stability. Just what I needed, because I was tired of having to reset the old one several times a day.

    Always had issues with Comcast modems, slow, short range etc. The Netgear modem is well worth the extra cost. You won't be disappointed.
