Great Modem/Router Combo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first modem/router combo that I've ever owned. I was looking to save money by not having to pay a monthly rental fee from my internet provider. It was easy to set up and I've had no issues with it thus far.

Great Modem/Router Combo!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range is great as I have a two story home. The 5 Ghz reaches upstairs no problem. The price is great too! You would spend almost double that to get the two items separately (if you purchase quality modem and router).

Doubled my Internet Speed for free.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By upgrading from a docsis 2.0 to 3.0 modem my speed instantly doubled without a penny more paid to Time Warner. Plus it's way more reliable than my old linksys modem. Good choice!

Great Wireless Router Modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace the wireless router modem that Comcast provides. I was having trouble with dropping signal and slow service. I replaced it with this Netgear and the problem was solved. Now I can watch my Apple TV with no problem and I can work from home without issues. Only thing I am noticing now is the software that comes with it "GENIE" is probably not a good idea to install. It took over my computer and is locking it up sometimes. So I wouldn't install it. But otherwise its a great modem to replace Comcast.

Nicely Priced Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for a family member just moving into their first apartment. Being a studio, they didn't need anything powerful, just something reliable for a small space, plus they didn't want to pay a monthly rental to the ISP for their crappy unit. This little box does the job and then some. Super easy to set up and super easy to navigate through the various menus. They're very happy with it!

Easy setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wifi modem replaced a combination cable modem and wifi router. Set up was incredibly simple. Speeds for page loading are much faster than our admittedly older technology. Very happy with our choice of device.

Easy to configure and works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was interested in reducing the number of devices (why buy both a cable modem and a router). This was reasonably priced and had good reviews. Configuration was a breeze and it has worked great with no issues.

Worth it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this Netgear modem after paying over $200 in rental fees for Comcast! It was the best decision i made. It’s easy to connect. Has the same speeds and is more cost efficient!

Quick and Easy set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very pleased with how easy set up was right out of the box. Less than 2 minutes on the phone with my internet provider and I was ready to go. The signal strength is much better than what I had before.

Excellent Router/Cable Modem Combo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this device for my mom. She was looking for a new faster router and also wanted to get her own cable modem in order to save a few bucks on her cable bill. I did some research and found this Netgear router/modem combo. It was reasonably priced and is very fast and reliable. It was also very easy to set up with a little help from a Time Warner Cable Customer Service Agent. Needless to say my mom is very happy and completely satisfied. I highly recommend this product.

Decent modem/router combo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a good product for a smaller home or office. The signal strength does not extend very far though. Setup was easy and it is capable of the speeds it advertises.

Netgear N600
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear N600 is good for what it is. It may not be as fast as the higher end dual band router's, but the price will get you almost the same results. As long as you're not paying for internet speeds that is higher than what the N600 can go, and you do not plan to upgrade to a faster internet speed, then the N600 is worth getting. I did not put the router in the center of my home, so I do have some wifi dead spots in certain rooms. If you are looking for wired connections, then I would not recommend the N600. It only has 2 ports for a wired connection, and the more expensive modem/routers have 4-5 ports. I'm ok with using just wifi connections, so it works for me. Overall, it hasn't failed me yet.

No more rental fees
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so I wouldn't have to keep paying the modem rental fee. Took about 10 minutes to get set up, super easy. Works like a charm and should pay for itself in a few months.

Not quite as good as I hoped
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It keeps me connected, most of the time. I do not get as good of range from this unit as my previous router I had with AT&T. I do not get the full 105 Mbs download speeds either, but some of that may fall on Comcast, so not completely blaming the router here. It is not as ruggedly built as I would have expected. The power adapter fits very loosely in the back of the unit, so much so that the cable guy had to give me another power cable from his truck that was a better fit and did not come out so easily. This unit also seems to drop my devices' connection every so often. I got a free TMobile router recently (they offer this cellspot for those of you on TMobile) and is a great router. Since I did not get this free one before the return period ended on the netgear one, I could not return the netgear and get a refund. Shame on me for not knowing sooner. Anyways, I have the two daisy chained and my range is much better when i connect to the cellspot instead. Get the free one from Tmobile or buy the motorola I would say. I had got a netgear for a friend and they have had similar experience with poor range and dropped connections.

Netgear N600
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually went in to buy a different router, but the employee there recommended this one to me. Glad he did. It was easy to set up, I get wifi throughout the whole house and it's fast. Recommend this

Great Modem/Router Combo in One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to purchasing this item, I had a separate Netgear modem, tethered to a different router. That layout didn't work too well, as I kept losing my internet connection. The last straw was when I couldn't connect to my internet after several attempts over two days... (turns out it was actually a problem with my cable company, but that's a different story). Anyhow, in my attempt to remedy the situation, I purchased this Netgear N600 modem/router in one. It was easy to set-up, and since I've been using it, I have had no issues whatsoever getting online. While I don't consider myself to be terribly tech-savvy, I do know what works for me, and what doesn't... and this Netgear N600 is working just fine.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a first time home internet user and thus this is my first experience with a router. It was on the Time Warner approved list somewhere in the middle with regard to capability. So far so good. I have not experienced any problems. The areas in the house I've tried to use it have all worked so far. So, thumbs up. In a totally unrelated matter, please fix the mobile check-in feature on the besbuy app. I've wasted a couple of hours over the months trying to get it to work in various locations. After googling I see other users complaining, so it's not me and my phone. Either fix or denounce the functionality!!!

Good Wireless Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Netgear wireless router is good-looking and has the commonly-used lighted symbols/icons on the front face to identify what is working or not working. That is nice because some routers don't include those any more. Set up was easy. We do have to reset this one a bit more often than our prior Motorola, but, it seems to come back well enough after doing so. It is able to handle our wireless printer, Sonos speakers, two laptops, two tablets, and the Amazon firebox (t.v. thing), etc.

Great modem/router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am familiar with the Netgear brand. I use Comcast xfinity, and didn't even need to call them to start the wifi--that's how easy it is to set up! I expect it to last a while.
