Works as described. When I acquired a new Windows 11 computer, my Windows 10 still worked. The Windows 11 machine is tied by ethernet to my modem but when I moved the 10 desktop computer to another room for occasional use, I needed to connect it to my wi-fi. I downloaded the specified driver, plugged it in and it works beautifully! If you don't have a network card for your computer, this does the trick at a minimal cost.

I upgraded an older, but very expensive, Thinkpad X220 with a new SSD, Windows 10, and a new keyboard. All worked well except for WiFi...Windows 10 did not work properly with the original internal WiFi card. No direct replacement card is available for this machine, so we shopped for an external WiFi device. This tiny USB adapter works perfectly and permits very fast up- and down-load speed. The range is amazing, and I don't know how they do that! This was much easier than trying to do surgery on the internal card and BIOS. It is small and runs cool and fast. Now I have a "new" laptop.

Worked like a charm, plugged it in and I received my wifi in moments. Thanks so much. I'm 72 so uncomplicated is of the utmost importance to me. This passed the test.

This item is very useful. Compared to many other adapters, this one is strong and compact. This item is perfect for working environments where wifi is required.

This is a great tiny adapter. The internal WiFi in my laptop went out. I bought this because it is a mini form factor and I can leave it in the laptop all the time. No additional drivers needed for Windows 10 and above. Good speed and decent range without any antenna.

I was having issues with connecting to WiFi for months. I bought this adapter and have been impressed with the fact that it's small and out of the way. It fixed my connectivity issues and I never have to worry about bumping it and losing connection. A great product.

Compact and works great. Speeds are reliable and receives strong signal even at a distance.

Stable, great connection, though due to the AC nature, the connection is somewhat limited. Full 5 stars as it's good and does what it's supposed to, just be aware of the data transfer limits of this type of adapter

Considering that the antenna and electronics are all contained in this tiny package, it's amazing that the performance is so good. It acquires both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and installation was quite simple. I'm using it to upgrade the WiFi receiver (only b+n) on an old Acer Netbook running Windows XP, and does the job with a hardly noticeable black USB body that I can leave in all the time.

I was amazed at how easy it was to install. This adapter wowed me with the speeds I was getting. Highly recommend this Wi-Fi adapter.

Pretty simple widget. Price was very good & it works exactly as advertised. I plugged it into a USB 2 port on my PC and it performs well. I get 40 Mbps on download and upload.

Bought this to upgrade my wife's laptop from 802.11n to 802.11ac (WIFI 5). Works well and small size means she can just leave it in the USB port all the time. An adapter with a larger antenna might provide more range, but it would be more awkward to have sticking out of the laptop. Small blue LED on device shows when data is being transferred. Easy to install, but if you're updating a computer with a built adapter you need to disable the old adapter (Netgear's instructions do no include this step). In Windows 10 go to Network Settings, bring up the page that shows the adapters. Right click on the old adapter and choose Disable.

Perfect! The wifi in my laptop quit. This got me back online without buying a new laptop. Super easy to install/setup. Couldn't be happier. 5 stars all day long!

I purchased this item for my daughter. She works from home and her computer is wired into the router and the cable runs through the game room, so I trip over it all the time. Great price and gets the job done. Unfortunately, her employer does not allow employees to use anything but wired connection for work.

Running a Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050 with an Intel Core i3 processor. After upgrading from Windows 7 to 10, when streaming video on some websites the audio would have drops and skips. After many attempts updating drivers, restoring original drivers, tinkering with settings, and trying different browsers with no results. I was about to retire the old laptop. I borrowed the NETGEAR A6150 Network Adapter from our desktop. Disabled the built in Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 Adapter on the laptop, and installed the NETGEAR A6150 WiFi USB 2.0 Adapter. I couldn't believe it fixed the problem. I bought a second one the very next day, and it even showed up in the mail a day early. None of the support forums, or problem solved videos pointed to an issue with the built in adapter. The old Laptop gets daily use, and seems to run a little faster. I can upgrade when I see a deal I can't resist.

My system's built-in WIFI failed and I needed something that would allow me to connect to the network immediately... Simple install with Plug and play for WIN10. Solid signal strength meeting my expectations. Overall it is a very good product for the price.
