I had a dead zone in the house, this solved the issue for the most part. It’s fairly reliable, signal does drop at times. The set up was easy and it’s pretty inexpensive

Purchased this Netgear WiFi extended to replace a much older Netgear extender. Experiencing stronger WiFi signal and faster speeds with the AX1800. Very satisfied with results.

Bought this about a year ago since our wifi completely dropped in certain areas of the house. It worked amazingly until about 2 days ago where i think a power outage might have fried it. Definitely going to be purchasing another one.

Had issues with the Wi-Fi not reaching our bedroom and causing games to lag. Bought this even though the worker at Best Buy that helped me find it told me it wouldn't work and I'm glad I did. Internet was only giving about 80mbps download speed before buying this and now it has been consistently in the 200mbps+ range. Haven't noticed any lag or issues since. Only giving it a 4 star due to the difficulty of the app and setting the device up but it definitely works boosting the speed. App isn't a big deal once you get it up and running but if you change your wifi name after you set it up, prepare for a headache.

Works well. I moved it a few times to get a better signal. There are fewer drops than I was experiencing before. If I had done better research ahead of time I would have gone with a mesh Wi-Fi. I’ll save that for next time!

I had to figure it out first. My phone doesn't automatically switch to the stronger signal. Found out that I can turn WIFI off and immediately back on it will grab the stronger signal. I love it now. I can get WIFI in my yard and garden.

I needed a little boost to my wifi in my house for gaming in another room on another floor. Set up was easy, took only 5-10 mins max and it's given me the boost I need for my gaming console. I even have it plugged in directly.

This is great extender that increased the wi-fi coverage in my house. I like that it doesn't need a power cord yet doesn't block the second receptacle of the outlet. The app makes installation easy.

Bought this to boost the signal between a summer home and the small cottage that sits about 25 yards away. Works wonderfully - significantly boosts the signal in the cottage so I can work on my laptop and stream YouTube TV, Amazon Prime movies, and Netflix. Tons of bandwidth. Easy set up.

I installed this Netgear range extender and linked it to my new Netgear router. Installation was straightforward. I experimented with several locations and found the one that worked best for extending access throughout my home. So far everything has worked well. I am very pleased with this solution. I like the mesh system that provides seamless access to the same Internet connection throughout my home.

Netgear EAX15 extender really not meshing.

While this works well as as single SSID name extender I don't believe it is a true "mesh" unit unless it used with with other Netgear products. I am an IT person and know how commercial mesh systems work.
In this application it is being used with T-Mobiles new 5G home internet unit which supports Wi-Fi 6 and "mesh" units in the AX band, The new modem supports the AX band/protocol. On my modems dashboard it shows if a Wi-Fi 6 AX unit is meshed with it and it does not. It shows zero devices connected. On my network it just shows up as another extender with an IP address,
In commercial systems one radio will hand off to the other as you move through a building and you'd never know it. Since this unit is not "meshed" with the modem there are some contention issues on whether the device (phone / tablet) continues receiving its signal from the modem or the extender. When close to the extender my phone is still connected to the TMO modem and really doesn't hand off as I expected it should. once beyond the modems signal then extender picks it up.
The idea of mesh systems in commercial units is to give you a solid decent signal as you move through a building.
Works great as an extender but at this point do not believe its a true mesh system unit. Use as you see fit.
