I read reviews in consumers reports and thought I would give it a try. So far so good, it works great. The only problem I had was connecting to my WiFi but the netgear rep walked me through setting it up. The problem I was having, security camera losing connection, has cleared up. So far I am happy with the results. It has only been two months since it was hooked up and so far so good.

The mesh extender has been good so far. The set up was easy and connected well with the system already in place. My WiFi signal has been stronger and more consistent since connecting to the mesh system. I also have a netgear router. Being able to view the network status and connections for both devices through the Netgear app is nice and user friendly. One note, I originally had the extender behind a cabinet. The signal wasn’t as consistent as I expected. I moved the extender to an open area and it has been fine since then.

I was able to make a direct connection to my ps5 using an Ethernet port and could finally play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone with my cross platform friends. It was easy to set up and its design looks clean and simple. Would definitely recommend this product for people who have a large house with the router stuck on the opposite end.

This Wi-Fi extender has exceeded my expectations and fulfilled all my requirements. It has significantly enhanced my online gaming experience. I no longer encounter substantial lag during multiplayer games. My download speeds have substantially improved, enabling me to stream content without any issues. Despite paying for 600 Mbps through Spectrum, where I primarily spend my time gaming, which I consider a dead zone in my home, I was only receiving approximately 80-99 Mbps before purchasing this product. Since implementing the Wi-Fi extender, my connection speed has increased to around 300 Mbps, which is sufficient for my gaming and streaming needs. It is important to note that I am primarily a console user, playing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Therefore, my experiences may not be representative of others. However, I highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing poor internet connectivity in specific areas of their living space. Currently, I reside in a 1,250 square foot townhouse with three levels. My router is located on the main floor, while the extender is situated on my upper level.

We saw this reviewed online and decided to replace our older, less expensive model extender. The results were everything we hoped for including not needing a second wi-fi name and super fast signals upstairs while our router is downstairs.

Setup should have been easy, following the instructions, but it was giving errors saying my wifi info was wrong and then after several failed attempts, having changed nothing, it connected to my wifi and hasn't given any problems since. Other than that it seems to be working as intended.

Setting up with the app was not too bad. Once we got through the setup the range extender is working flawless.

Needed to extend the WiFi signal so it would reach my Ring cameras on the exterior of my house. The camera furthest from my cellular hotspot is about 30 feet. The extender worked as described and I now have a solid connection with all my ring cameras as well as a bird feeder with a camera.

Moved into a larger place and our wifi had some dead spots. This completely solved our problems. We already owned a Nighthawk wifi router and this Netgear extender worked perfectly with it. The app found it and now we don't have any dead spots. I would recommend and buy again.

I must say this item did the job! I was having a hard time with my connection stabilizing while using multiple systems. It was recommended that I purchase a Mesh Wall extender. I was unsure which one to choose- however the staff member at the store was able to help me. He suggested this one and I will tell you , IT WORKS! I have not had one single issue since using this. 4 stars instead of 5 because set up was cumbersome and not as user friendly as expected.

Good for the purpose of purchase. I do wish there was a manual reset button on the unit. There are times the Wifi that it is connecting to loses Internet connectivity but maintains a network connection. When the Internet connection resumes at the main box, it does not always reconnect to the Extender.

My wifi just got much better throughout the entire house. I used to have an older mesh extender that finally broke, I never knew any different. This netgear 4 was life changing! Super easy to set up and fast. The mobile app walks you through all the steps and in about 10 minutes I had strong wifi throughout my entire house. Having thick concrete walls used to be a major issue, but this has dissolved any problems at a reasonable cost. Was able to to connect to my existing modem router combo.

eventually got this product to work in my apartment which needed a boost in the Wi-Fi network. So far so good and I am pleased to report it really works..

Description: Awesome works as advertised extended the range in the garage for my outdoor cameras. Best option to set it up was via desktop as setting up via the phone on the APP the APP kept closing. But overall this extender is awesome.

This product is amazing.. we needed to extend our WiFi and this made the range much better and when watching tv we didn’t experience any interruptions with tv viewing

Easy to install and setup. The Netgear EAX15 AX1800 improved signal boost from weak to strong according to my Chromebook. Great product for the price. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to increase wi-fi range or increase signal strength.

Had issues with the Wi-Fi not reaching our bedroom and causing games to lag. Bought this even though the worker at Best Buy that helped me find it told me it wouldn't work and I'm glad I did. Internet was only giving about 80mbps download speed before buying this and now it has been consistently in the 200mbps+ range. Haven't noticed any lag or issues since. Only giving it a 4 star due to the difficulty of the app and setting the device up but it definitely works boosting the speed. App isn't a big deal once you get it up and running but if you change your wifi name after you set it up, prepare for a headache.

Used this to extend the range of my outside security system and it really works perfectly. I do not have to worry about it - it just resets itself if there is a power outage. Works perfectly with my Orbi system

Range is really good for the price! Recommended same extender to my buddy and he no longer has any dead zones in his house. Easy to install as well, great purchase.

Bought this to boost the signal between a summer home and the small cottage that sits about 25 yards away. Works wonderfully - significantly boosts the signal in the cottage so I can work on my laptop and stream YouTube TV, Amazon Prime movies, and Netflix. Tons of bandwidth. Easy set up.
