After attempts to find a compatible wifi antenna for my Win 7 computer, I bought the AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 exteder/booster to the issue of connecting to the internet. Not only did it pair easily with my Spectrum wifi router, but I was able to get over 200 Mbs download speed and 20 Mbs upload speed on a broadband test. I also have better wifi reception on my outdoor patio, which is closer to my office. Reasonable price, faily easy to setup on the Blackhawk app and works well with my older gaming computer. It comes with an RJ-45 port, which I connected to my lan port for faster speeds. Very happy now. Avoided having to install Windows 10 to get a wifi adapter that would be compatible with my old beast.

My satisfaction. I have not missed a single call since I installed it in the ‘dead’ zone.

This product has worked very well. We just needed the wifi to extend a bit further for a security camera. This has made the wifi work great! It was easy to set up and I would recommend this product and will get another if I need it in the future

Awesome item. Worked great. My sons room downstairs and my daughter's room across from his had a bad wifi signal because the main router was upstairs. I actually have 2 of these now one in my daughter's room and one in my sons room.
They both use the rj45 cable because it has one rj45 port and they use that for a hard wire connection. Makes a world of difference litterally night and day. Both went from a weak signal always buffering videos could not ay online games to a gigabit connection and now they can watch a movie and play online games at the same time if they wanted to. Its so so much faster. Also there phones are connected at the fastest speed they can connect at with wifi. My son told me he wished i did this for him a long time ago. They are super fast took care of any dead zones for wifi gave them a hard wire connection and it does 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz and im telling you its so worth the price. Also super easy to hook up just download the phone app and follow the instructions.

Works incredibly well if you have a good place to install. Set up was super easy and took 5 minutes. Only need to download app and follow instructions. We had two dead spots where we had NO wifi access. With the installation of this extender, we no longer have any wifi issues.

I bought two of these and had them running for a month of two now. I have a 300 sq ft single story house which has a large footprint. I have my router in the middle of the house and one booster toward the front of the house and one toward the back.
There are random times when the booster disconnects from the router. I can tell this because I look at the blackhawk app and my map now only shows one booster. When this happens I usually have to go figure out which one isn't connected any more and then unplug it and plug it back in. This usually works to reconnect it to the router. I SHOULD NOT have to do this.
The other issue I have noticed is that my Amazon Alexa device that sits in between the router and one of the boosters goes offline quite a bit. This could be a different issue altogether but it started with the installation of these boosters. My theory on this is that the device can't make it's mind up on connecting through the booster or the router directly and it jumps back and forth because there will be periods of time when listening to the radio on it and the line at the bottom will change to orange for a minute while it reestablishes connection.

Great Range Extender

Gives excellent range to my office space. I like that the SSID matches the main router, unlike my previous range extender. That means the computer and phone automatically connect to the router or extender depending on which has the stronger signal. Signal strength is ridiculous at the front of my house, and easily swaps out neighbors who were interfering on my channel.

Using these as a mesh network in our 2 story house with an ASUS router. All nodes were set up with the same SSID and we have good coverage using these. The only issue is that devices don't "hop" from one node to the other. They will tend to stay connected to the first one and when you walk to another part of the house, you need to "manually" connect to the closest one. What that means is just put your phone to sleep and then back on so that it connects to the best signal. Not that big of a deal. TV's/Roku's are stationary so it's mostly phones and maybe a laptop.

Once we got our Nighthawk cable modem up and running, this was a pretty easy setup using the app. It took less than 10 minutes and now we have WiFi in the dead zone. There is also a port so that we can plug-in any device that doesn't have WiFi. Overall, a good addition to the home network.

Seamless Mesh Extension with no complications

Nice "Mesh" extender. I used this instead of going Full Mesh, so I could use a Nighthawk 5400 Router (wired) for gaming, and flight simulation which requires low latency for my work and gaming. The result has been just what I wanted. While I get Very high speed (full 1 Gbps) on the Wired network on one side of the building (no latency/hesitation, no reboots, good frame rates), I use this to get seamless 300mbps Wifi on the other side of the 6000 sq ft building for streaming to TV's , iPads, etc. for less intensive things. Good product.
