A lot of money and a lot of disappointments later, I have found the correct combination. I have the Netgear 18 Wifi router 6 and this, AX1800 extender. They work and pair with the router like a glove. It was easy to install the extender. The instructions were clear and easy to follow for the setup. I love the convenience of the mobile app. This is a great product that I would recommend to everyone.

Solved a Problem

The location for the router was at one end of the house and the TV on the other. Would get the spinning circle right in the middle of a good part in a movie or a sporting event. Set up the device near my TV and this immediately solved the issue. Have not had the dreaded spinning circle since. This specific device came highly recommended from a Best Buy employee and he was right on the money.

Pretty solid

Not having the extender caused us to hardly ever be able to see the “Live View” feature. After getting the extender set up and plugged in the fail rate has decreased drastically, but has hiccups every now and then. Overall worth the purchase

My wireless no longer does the deadly circle while trying to gather data. It is so nice to be able to watch television using wireless without any lagging.

The signal is decent through 2 block walls at a distance of about 30'
