unit works fine and would have given it a 5 star but my HP compaq C700 laptop gets no internet connection unless it is hard wired with the ethernet cable from the unit to the laptop. had to buy a new modem/router because of comcast. would not have bought this modem/router if i knew it wouldn't work for my laptop. apparently the problem is the laptops wi-fi . tried to install new drivers from HP but this didn't fix the problem and comcast couldn't fix problem either.

Fast speed, good for multiple devices. Downloads and stream movies without being interrupted

This product is great for anyone who is interested or about to be a Comcast/Xfinity customer. Buying this router will avoid the extra fee for leasing a router through Comcast/xfinity. Works very well and despite it maybe being a hefty price, it is well worth it.

Easy self installation. my only issue is that I asked someone in sales in bestbuy for the product that is used for a triple comcast package and the salesman said this product would work. once i tried to install at home, there was no phone outlet on rhe device. So I will have to exchange for the correct item.

I am my parent's "IT staff" for anything electronic and when they received a mailing from Comcast that their cable modem was severely out of date, it was my "job" to replace it. After comparing the compatible devices on BestBuy's website, it was a simple choice and purchase. Installation was easy and integration with Comcast services was a snap.

In order to save roughly $10 per month - I returned the cable/modem that I was currently renting from my cable company and decided to purchase one instead. This one was easy to install with no interruption of service. We can all hook up to it with our tablets, laptops and phones. There are 4 of us constantly using it. So far so good.

I moved to a new house and had to switch ISPs, which meant buying a new modem. Given the choice between buying directly from Cox or from Best Buy, I chose Best Buy. This was not the lowest priced modem or the highest, but a mid-range, which was exactly what I was looking for. Set-up took just seconds. The only drawback it has is that is can ONLY be set up vertically, but I chose to "hide" it behind the TV, so this was not an issue. Overall, great modem for the price.

Purchased this to use with TWC. Easy to setup and works great. No problems so far. I've been getting great speeds.

Didn't need much except for the appropriate speeds I wanted AND to be compatible for Comcast's installation.

N300 performs admirably when if you're a light-medium user. Currently mine is connected to 8 devices simultaneously. While I was connected to 6 devices the performance was without a lag and the connection fast. When the device count increased, I started to notice a slow down in the performance. Bottom line, this is a great device if you are not heavy user.

I chose to NOT get the $200+ model. This works great. We have 2 TVs with internet capabilities for streaming, 2 computers, a cell, and two tablets. Sometimes all going at the same time. We do not have issues with looping. Keeps up with our needs very well. Easy to set up. The ONLY issue I have is the print is TEENY and it was hard to read the password, even with my reading glasses on.

Awesome router for the low price compared to other routers. I definitely recommend it; high speed internet!
