    I decided to by a modem so I don't have to pay an extra 10 a month to the internet company and it was one of the best choices I have made. this product works great and has no problems with it.

    Thus, I replaced a router and modem by combining the two into one. In the short time I have used it there have been no problems. It did not speed up my internet mainly because Comcast insisted on an upgrade for more money for faster service. I don't work very fast so I am satisfied with the new Netgear. The Best Buy salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. The type of salesman that we always hope for but very seldom find. I look forward to years of service from this product.

    Right out of the box, this modem did not require much to set up. The Netgear Genie program (separate download) made it easy to complete setup of Guest accounts. I would buy this again if needed.
