This NETGEAR Cable Modem Router must be everything it's advertised to be. I had it installed about 6 weeks ago, and have not had any problem with it. Works great, and will pay for itself in less than a year, compared to renting from cable company.

This router was simple to setup and works just as well or even better than the one given to you by your internet provider! Remember that during setup you will need to call your internet provider so that thy can send a signal to your router!

Easy set up. Works. good price. What more do you want? The Best Buy store electronics rep helped me pick the right modem for Comcast internet and he was right ! You might buy something on the internet at a cheaper price, but who is going to explain it to you and make sure it works right the first time?

This is a great item. The NetGear Genie is great to operate on my laptop. Its difficult on the cell phone. However, the item is great because its fast and efficient. The modem worked in seconds, and the fact that I am able to turn it on/off is a great benefit.

I have a router but the modem I used before is no longer supported by Comcast. I researched about this modem/router and it seems much easier to set up than a separate modem and router. It did not disappoint. Basically just plug it in and then called comcast and the rep activated it over the phone.

This unit was a replacement to an old Linksys unit. It was very easy to install & get up & running. Easily handles 3 smart phones, 1 tablet & 1 laptop WiFi requirements for household. Been installed for a few months now with no problems.

I stream 1080p movies or PS4 games in 1080p while at least one other device is streaming the same. No drops or dips that I have noticed since the first week I started with my new IP.

Bought this to replace my cable modem that I was renting from Comcast, I have no idea why I did not buy sooner as I was getting charged $10 a month to rent. Set up was easy and the product was xfinity approved, which it states on the outside of the box.

Easy to setup, saves space. Only thing is I wish there was a desktop icon to access the router instead of accessing through the browser. Other than that it i a lot better than the old Motorola surfboard modem and Netgear wireless router I replaced.

It's always good to have an easily compatible device listing when purchasing or updating that all important Internet connection. By listing all the providers with approved compatibility on the box made it a simple task to choose the right product.

For the price, this is a great cable modem/router. It was everything as advertised right out of the box. It sustains very high speeds flawlessly and was up and running in minutes. Once my ISP provisioned it, I was online.

I needed that router for an exchange with the ISP Router that's always going out. It was easy to configure step by step. I haven't had an issue since then, it worked.

Quick and simple install, took about 10 minutes, also easy to secure, default admin password, WPA configuration and all other options only took a couple of extra minutes for configuration. CableOne installer had no issues installing the cable end of the set up. Overall very satisfied

Bought this modem for my mom's townhouse (1600sq. tf) Great range, better than paying Comcast $10 for their modem, and I don't have to share it as hotspot. The guy at Best Buy helped a lot with all my questions and he recommended this modem for the size of the home. Thanks.

This is a good combo router/modem. You can save money for not leasing a modem from provider. It is just a wireless n300 router so it's not cutting edge tech but still does well. Easy setup and no problems so far.

Took out of box and had it set up in about 15 min. Installation and set up very easy and it works great thru the whole house. Good value

I bought this because I thought I would perform well as my n600, just with shorter range. I was in for a surprise. First, if there are more than 3 people using WiFi at 20mbps speeds everyone is going to lag a bit. Dual band 2.4 and 5 ghz is still the way to go other wise the signal goes one way and your life is going to be unpleasant. If you live alone and are no more than 25 feet away from the router you will be fine. After too many people connect to WiFi or you're too far away it becomes pitiful. Save the 20-40 dollars and buy the N600 which is the next model up. Bounds and leaps above this. Just know your needs and don't expect too much.

We needed a modem/router for our home, and since there's just 2 of us at home, this size was perfect for us. We have all of our Apple products synced to it, as well as our home computer and printer. Everything works quickly and smoothly. We have really enjoyed this set.

I don't know much about wireless technology, but the thing works. Haven't had any problems with it in the past month. I like that it's a router and a modem all in one. Worth it to save money renting one from an internet company.

This product is the perfect router-modem for my internet carrier. Has good features and easy to set-up. User manual needs more details and explanations. Diagrams/pictures lack some labels. Had to search online. But overall, it works perfectly!
