I've had this router for a bit now and this is def what I always needed. Setup was extremely easy, I called Comcast to tell them I wasn't gonna use their $10/month router anymore and they were surprised that I had already done the switch manually and without their help. Def worth every penny of it. Hello freedom from Comcast's routers.

I've had this unit for a bit over 2 months. I have cox internet and set up of the actual unit was easy, the longest part was calling Cox and getting the guy on the phone to understand the mac info. Haven't had any issues.

I purchased one of these Netgear modem/routers to escape from the rental fees charged by my internet provider. It was a very tempermental modem. When it worked, it worked fine, but anywhere from 5 minutes to a day or two (usually closer to the 5-20 minute mark), it would stop broadcasting my internet connection both wirelessly and wired. It would work after a power cycle only to stop broadcasting shortly after each power cycle. After a very painful customer service call and performing the suggested troubleshooting, same issue occurred after 20 minutes, then after a power cycle, after 5 minutes.. After another horrendous call to customer service, I exchanged the modem for another of the same only to have the same issue with it. I tried the modem in all sorts of environments to verify that was not affecting it, but alas it still did not work. I returned this modem/router and purchased one at a similar price point and it has worked just fine since I got it. I wouldn't recommend Netgear, not necessarily for the quality of their product which was abysmal at best, but mainly for their customer service.

I purchased this for TWC Internet. I signed up for the 200Mbps plan, and thought this would work for that. It does not. You will only get up to 100Mbps with this modem router. This is not a problem with the item itself, but with TWC limiting the speed they want to give to the modem. But this modem has about medium range, will just cover a 1500 sqft house, but will not reach out a garage or far in the back yard, if that is what you are looking for.

This is great router for home use. It includes cable modem and wireless as well. I'm happy with my purchased.

It has worked without problems. I am satisfied with its performance.

I've found Netgear products to have a very easy setup process. I needed a modem that has 2 Ethernet ports. This modem supplies the correct data speeds from my ISP. No issues so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and easy to use modem/router.

NETGEAR has great products and this WiFi router is no different. I purchased this router a little while back and I'm pleased to report that I haven't had a single issue. The one time I did call their service department, I was assisted by a very helpful rep who answered all of my questions and helped me figure out how to change my channel to receive quicker downloads. I would buy NETGEAR products again!

Install was easy. I se it on Time warner Cable. It took hooking it up and calling TIme Warner Tech over the phone . It was working in less than 5 minutes. PLUS speed went up 30% Good Product. I wish the packaging was compostable material.

This cable modem is reliable and fast. I've been using it for a while now, and had no problem with its performance. It does a great job!

this just saved my life at home, a very good working cable modem, now iI can just enjoy every minute of my internet service and my family too, very good product so far.

Needed to buy a combo router/modem and this had great reviews and a decent price. Setup was fast and easy and the speed seemed pretty fast to me.

It's a good budget modem. Speeds are average, wireless coverage is not spectacular but alright. However, firmware is really slow and buggy and not updateable by user (only through ISP!!). Also, the ReadyShare function only works for some ext HDDs, so it's more a marketing gimmick than an actual feature...

I have internet with cox and had a cox modem with a linksys router that did not provide enough Wi-Fi coverage around my small three bedroom house. I got this for a good price and works great Wi-Fi coverage is way better and there's less wires since its a modem and router all in one. Great product for a few bucks

I really regret not putting more research into getting my own modem and router, but I needed something to get my internet up and running quickly so I bought this. I have only had it for a month and a half and its the worst. I think I would be better off with the one time warner provides. We only have 2-3 devices being used at a time and experience spotty connections. The connection will completely drop and we will have to reset the modem at least twice a day to get it back. Also, you can't update the firmware. Spend the extra money on a better product.

This is an excellent router for use with Cox Cable. Very easy to setup and use. Comes with a genie program that helps you do all the work. Remember to change your passwords from the default to one unique to you. I really love this product and recommend it highly
