I have this paired with a Netgear Nighthawk router. 2.4GHz band works great and gives me coverage throughout the house. However, the 5GHz range periodically flakes out such that our devices don't connect to it and also can't connect to the router's 5GHz network. I had to disable it after a while. The setup wasn't as seamless as I expected, given that I was pairing it with a Netgear router. Knocking down 2 stars for those issues.

This was my first WiFi Extender purchase and I could not be happier. It was a breeze to set up and now parts of my house that had very weak to no signal has full connectivity. This product is as advertised and I am extremely happy with it.

Very easy set up and working great in extentending the range.

I purchased this product to extend my wifi service to the other side of the house. Set up was pretty simple and it seems to work as my devices show I have better coverage.

Great piece of equipment. Easy to set up and put to work, I didn't have any difficulties and it helped greatly with signal strength. Great for the price as well.

This allowed us to receive wi-fi signal all through our home and even out on the back deck and down by the water. And we were able to watch streaming video wherever we have smart TVs. Great little gadget!! Simple set-up, too.

Bought this because my WiFi was really bad in the bedroom. Put this bad boy in there and I now have the best signal ever. Super easy to setup it was no hassle for someone who doesn’t know much about all this

Never had an issue with any Netgear product and I have them in 3 homes as well as work. I have the Cable Router and these range extenders and they have been working well for 8 months. I waited to review this because I wanted to see how well tis unit will operate given some history. I have plaster walls (not drywall) in the house which is why I need this range extender. I have 10 cameras, a Ring, 5 Alexas , 5 phones, 3 laptops and 3 iPads and the extender can handle all the traffic. Except for the cameras and the phones, not all devices are being used at the same time.

Easy to install, works great for extending low signal areas

I set this up as a wifi access point, not a wifiextender (connects to the rest of my network via ethernet, not wifi). once set up it works very well.. great coverage . I even have reasonable signal in my garage which is 60 feet away. However, the instructions to set up as an access point were a little vague and incorrect. I was on hold for an hour and then it took an hour to set up. Once set up it works great/

Works just as stated. Now I have no dead spots in my house.

I bought this based on the brand compatibility with my modem/router, as well as overall reliability of Netgear. I was a little apprehensive about the set up based on some reviews stating how the set up was confusing. I was also confused initially because I couldn’t locate the wps button on my router. However, once I did, the set up was straightforward. I also enjoyed how I could place this in a different room from the router. I’ve read that some wifi extenders need to be connected to the router.

Purchased this booster for a business and it works great.

I purchased this WiFi extender to strengthen a WiFi signal in the basement of a commercial building where the primary router is on the 1st floor level and the basement it separated from the 1st level by a concrete floor. I located the extender in the basement and it picked up the signal and strengthened it perfectly throughout the entire basement level. Devices on the basement level no longer drop the Wifi signal. I did find the range extender less that intuitive to configure and the printed instructions were very sparse. I needed to revert to the Netgear website several times and perform a restore factory settings reset once in order to get it right.

I also got the router to go with it and the geek squad installed them both.no more buffering!!netflix works great. and we have 15 or more things connected to the router.
