It retains and password the name of the original network. Didn't work miracles but definitely improved my coverage. The "Darth Vader" styling doesn't exactly blend into my living room decor. I put it on the floor behind a magazine rack.

Difficult to set up

But finally did after a few minutes of troubleshooting. Worked good for a while then a couple of days later started having connection issues during peek times. Unplugged it and reset all the equipment, worked good again for a couple of days then the same thing happened again so for now it’s just unplugged.

Great speed but issues with iPhone on 5Ghz

Great improvement on speed to the computer in my bedroom. For some reason, had issues with connect with iPhone over 5Ghz band. Installed latest firmware and seems to solve problem but still acts up every now and then.
