Great router for gamers! Kinda difficult to get setup but maybe that was just me. Once setup the thing is solid.

This router can easily support more than 20 devices connected to it at the same time. The range is not very great for very large homes. The security features also pretty good.

I have noticed a real difference in streaming on over 10 devices simultaneously. No interruptions whatsoever, this is a definite must have for large families!!!

I was happy with the unit for the first 6 weeks, but then started having a connection issue. Checked with Comcast first and confirmed no outages. After finally getting someone in they went right to the standard "Reset the router" procedure. The Firmware update never went away. After another hour or so call the next day, they decided to RMA the unit which had some initial issues the first day, but worked until it didn't 6 days later. Again a long wait for service and did the standard reset with ended up doing the same as the other: firmware never finished. I have made many calls that took hours and many dropped calls and was never put through to 2nd tier help. Kept getting tier on folks from somewhere in India that just followed the same playbook. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY NETGEAR product. I am now stuck with a unit I cannot return to Best Buy. I hope I can get Netgear to reimburse me, but not sure I have that many hours to lose to that process. A tech specialist suggested I go with something from Motorola since they handle a lot of commercial business. Was so looking forward to the hype around this unit.

This is the best modem/router i have ever owned. Highly recommend it to anyway who is trying to upgrade their modem to current standards.

We bought the exact same brand/style/speed almost 3 years ago and it worked really well until 2.9 months and it started to loose the Wi-Fi connection. So we bought this new Netgear thinking the Wi-Fi and speed would be awesome. However, after 1.5 months, the Wi-Fi connection on my iPhone is very slow sometimes. I’m disappointed. Tried to find a better one but couldn’t find anything better during this pandemic.
