Was worried about it covering 3500 of home but it works without hiccups

This router is a BEAST! Since setting up, my speed have greatly improved. I have a 300mb plan and get 350mb! Highly recommended!

Install and set up was very easy with the support team at night hawk. This modem works great. Night hawk is so much better than the spectrum canle modem. Picture quality and speed is great. Sound quality is so much better as well.

Great modem/router combo. Works well with my home, with 8+devices connected at all times. A little difficult to setup on the app, but we figured it out.

Working great for our home. Signal strength is excellent on the 2nd floor and basement. We have it installed on the first floor. One thing to note is that it will not work with Xfinity Wireless Cable Boxes. We just experienced this recently. But this supplement this we have smart tvs and installed the Xfinity Stream app and have purchased Roku for faster response with our lower end smart tvs.

First time owning a modem/router. Used to own separate machines. Transmission is a bit quicker. Now I have control over devices in the household. Love the option to choose either the 2.4 or 5 GHz for a device. Future proof

THE BEST WIFI YOU CAN BUY. I hated the wifi set up cox gave me and it you have gigablast it wont work properly. With this wifi my streaming is blazing fast at the speeds I need. Well worth the money!

This thing is awesome. Wifi speed is way better on this router than my last one. Setting up the modem was not difficult and it was pretty quick. Netgear is the best!

Price, setup, it isn’t long range, Ethernet port the signal slow then the Wifi signal. That’s not good if we want to plus router in .and power adapter not convenience plus on outlets

Glad I didn’t review this earlier 18 months into the purchase and died a electronic death , No extended warranty, and out of manufacturer warranty. Buyer beware really do not buy without that geek squad warranty. Talking to NetGear to see if they will do me right by helping replace or repair it since geek squad doesn’t do repairs on this product. If they don’t they just lost a loyal customer for the rest of my life I’M So Disappointed in this product!!!!!’

Thing works great. Been using for a month Wi-Fi is way better.

I bought this on 5-10-21 for $537 with tax and it stopped working 6-26-22 just over a year and it stops. Not a good product. Netgear nor Best Buy would do anything about it. I will not buy another netgear product or shop at Best Buy. This should last longer then a year.

This Modem/Router combo is a beast! It handles Docis 3.0 or 3.1 and items on the 2.4 ghz or 5G bandwidth. Add in the elite Armor Protection powered by Bitdefender and you have a high speed network that can handle a major smart home. Be sure to get cables that provide the elite speed this can provide to the best high end TV’s, Accessories, etc. It has a very strong WiFi signal that easily handles a very large two story home through many walls.

I’m gonna review this product anyway, even though I don’t really need the 500 bucks but if you feel like you wanna send it to me great I have purchased this Nighthawk router before in the older versions and I love them. I love the app and I love the ability to go into the Web GUI and do the things that I need to do. It’s really slick. The speed is awesome. I replaced a Comcast X7 cable modem. That was slow as crap. Let me tell you I was extremely dissatisfied and I owned that modem out right. And to replace it would have meant to lease a new from Comcast. As you guessed buying A Nighthawk from Netgear was a no brainer. That said. The coverage is not as great as the older models I used. Speed does drop off faster than you’d think in a 1000 up 1000 down sq foot home. However this matters not to the causal user and non smart home owner. But I like to game and this could be problematic if I was not wired with Ethernet. Also I like my home smart. And being wired is not easy in most older home. However I have every room wired except to say most smart products are wireless. So anyone who game is going to be hard wired. Period! But for smart home users you’re going to need a great WIFI SIGNAL. PERIOD! As for the signal and speed drops at other end of the house is common experience for most modern WiFi users. My experience is 1.2gig by the modern with or without wired connections. And about 50-75gig WITHOUT extender at other side of my home. I don’t feel the need to complain about it much. Except to say I solved this problem by purchasing EAX15 extender from Netgear. And I Went from 75 down to about 300gig down and for some reason 40gig up which is about the same as being right by the Night hawk CAX80 As for needing the extender, I would guess the powers at Netgear intended me to fall headfirst right into this decision. Regardless of my WiFi needs. Because why create extenders at all. Right? In the end. This is high end purchase and I only do high end. Though it Would have been nice not have spent extra on an extender. But my house runs on a lot of WiFi 6 at 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequency. I.e., cameras, smart light, smart switches, smart blinds, smart doors, Alexa, media devices, phones and tablets. With 65 WiFi signal in all plus the wire stuff and the Netgear Night hawk CAX80 plus EAX15 extender handles them all extremely

Easy to install. Almost doubled my wired speed coming from an AC1900.
