Finding ourselves in immediate need of a router/modem we decided on the Netgear product. Thus far it has had better speed than the comparable Motorola product. The app is also very easy to use and quite helpful for checking on the network.

This was an update of a model a little further down. The difference is taken a lot. Much more speed, easier to connect connections are stable. good

Initially bought the Arris G36 and it would disconnect every morning and was very frustrating trying to reboot the modem. Returned that model and went with the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 instead. The difference was as clear as night and day. NETGEAR's app integration and modem activation process was so smooth, easy, and quick. Connectivity hasn't dropped once since activating, very happy with purchase.

Great device, speed is there. It works great, multiple devices are able to connect now.

This combo is amazing. I bought it to replace a failing AC1750 and this thing is blazing. Along with the added security features and a simple UI, this is the perfect product.

Good product , a little hard to set up if you have multiple devices over all it is a good piece of equipment

I would not expect anything less than a great modem from a Nighthawk product, setup was easy, and the nighthawk app is great and helpful to manage the modem.

Wifi on this is great & fast. However, it stopped working on me after 6 months & I was somewhat scammed by someone NetGR that had me purchase 3 more years of security to make it work again with only 10 items connected to it at 1 time. Per NetGear this is not their policy or their company that did this so make sure if you start to have problems to connect with NetGear not NetGR.

Great modem. I switch from a Arris modem which was having problems with wifi signal dropping throughout the house. This modem is a beast, no wifi drops at all, tested it in every corner of the house and got good signal. It's a bit pricey but i say well worth the money. I work from home and i need a stable internet connection at all times, no need to worry about any network issues with this modem.

This was super easy to set up and I definitely noticed an immediate, positive difference in my internet speeds.

We set it up through xfinity and it was quick and easy. Router combo made it even easier. Great fast speed.

Very sleek looking piece of equipment, I already knew the performance would be second to none. So finding a quality unit that had great aesthetics was my main focus. Performance of this unit is very quick, runs all of our electronics efficiently. Would buy again for sure!

With my previous router combo I had to use wifi boosters in my house now I can go all they way outside and have perfect connection now. The app is awesome and easy to use. I was kind of hesitant that it as around $500 but it has been worth every penny. It was easy to set up with my ISP too. I have spectrum and it was no problem.

Speeds are as advertised. Fast, reliable connection. Best option to keep up with todays internet speeds, avoid using ISP's dog equipment, and their equipment fees.

I bought because my house has iPads, phones, laptops, Xbox all running the same time. I’m working from home and doing video calls daily. I had glitches prior to buying this and now everything is perfect!!!! Great buy and I’m very happy! I highly recommend.

Brought this and waited a year before opeing box. Found no power supply cord inside, have been a nightmare trying to find a replacement. Best buy does not sell replacement part, amazon keeps recommending wrong ones meant for laptops and about every other location we've been to. Spent money on an item that has been unsuable up to this point, so cannot give review of product. Make sure to check contents right away to avoid having this issue.

This is not a reflection on netgear at all but just thought I would let everyone know my experience with Xfinity when I tried to hook up this modem/router. I have always had awesome netgear products and my current extender works great, EX8000. But when you try to add an outside modem to your account with Xfinity and are already on the top plan of 1.2GB and unlimited data, xfinity has figured out a way to get you. Since I am already on their top plan, xFi 1.2GB with unlimited data, you can only have 1 modem on the account and when you try to add this netgear and take off their supplied gateway, then you lose unlimited data and they will charge you $30/month to upgrade it. So you do not get any credits by using your own equipment instead have to pay more for the service if you want to use your equipment and not the Xfinity gateway, which i know they throttle speeds on the wifi. So I had to return the item back to best buy since I cannot use it.

I've had this gateway for 2 years now... I absolutely loved it at first, especially with the companion app which was great. But it has since stopped working. Continuously resets itself to factory settings and makes me go through set up over and over again. A Netgear Nightmare! I've always believed in Netgears products, but this is super disappointing. Spent $500 on something that is now trash. Will never buy another Netgear product again.

Talk about amazing little device. Easy set up and finnaly getting the speeds ive been paying for for the last year.
