This Rputer improved my wifi speed dramatically. We went from a 2-3 Gps to 51 the moment we plugged it in. Now we need to go through and connect the external hard drive with all of our movies for easy access.

Easy setup, works great. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Good range and fast internet everywhere on my 2/2 apt.

The router was easy to install and connect to from an iPad and printer. Its range is very good, providing a strong signal downstairs from its upstairs location.

This is the 2nd one of these I have owned. My first one was getting older and started having issues. So I replaced it with the exact same model. These work great, are fast and have great coverage. I wish the first one would have lasted longer but unfortunately electronics that run 24/7 don't last forever. I recommend this product.

Before I had a terrible linksys. When I went to the nighthawk. I nearly became a wifi hotspot everywhere I went from all the waves that went through my body when I plugged this bad boy in. Recommended for everyone!

Purchased for someone else. A little over priced since you can get other better models from other manufacturers at same price I paid for this. However, they did not carry the model I wanted and did not want to wait. That said, its a decent router for most small to mid sized homes (some larger homes too if placed correctly). I only use the 2g and seems fine for distance. Router is on 1 side of house and upstairs on opposite side still gets enough speed to watch streams.

Got the router to boost my internet speeds. Jumped from 21Mbps download, to 37Mbps. These speeds are even with the 802.11b/g standards. When i replace my wifi adapter, it will go up. Great purchase for the price.

We have 150mps coming into the house and we needed a router that could handle the bandwidth for streaming multiple wireless devices and not have slowdown or weak signal. The NIGHTHAWK has dual bands allowing for greater stability of signal and the ability to segregate gaming, streaming and normal, in addition, its antenna array allows for maximizing signal strength through any wall. It is an awesome router! The "Genie" app is the router interface/manger application and it is one of the easiest and best designed I've ever used. Set-up was effortless and we were online in minutes. One additional feature is an ON/OFF button on the back of the router for easy reset and powering down the router when needed. I highly recommend this router!

Before I had purchased this NetGear router, I had previously owned a NetGear router, of which I was sort of surprised to find that the settings interface had not changed much from my several year old router. That is not altogether a bad thing, after using the router I found that it was more of the fact that NetGear routers already had pretty well laid out settings screens, but I think this product could benefit if the settings screen was redesigned to look more appealing, and to make it have a look that is different from their older routers. This router does have a dual core 1 ghz processor, compared to the more expensive competition, it is a slightly faster processor, so that is a plus. The 1 year warranty on NetGear routers, could be extended to 2 years and this would be more appealing to customers, some other brands of routers have 2 year warranties. The one thing that I had used most of all on my previous router, was the ability to add a customized name to devices that are attached. Surprisingly NetGear removed that capability from this router, not sure why, maybe that feature will be added again with future firmware upgrades. This router does have a good WiFi range, but it does not allow you to customize the broadcasting strength of the WiFi signals, that is a functionality that other competing routers have, some people might not need it in a router. Overall, this router performs well. I returned it back to the store and bought the new Asus router, afterwards I found that this NetGear router did appear to have a slightly stronger WiFi signal compared to the the new Asus router, but overall I prefer the overall package of the Asus router in comparison.

Thanks to the 3 antennas and beamforming, this router has incredible range. I have it on the 1st floor, and I get good signal on the 2nd floor, even in the bathroom. I returned the range extender that I bought.

My Netgear router was old, and with two very device active teens, we desperately needed an upgrade. With some fantastic advice from the sales associate, I brought home this updated version and now my devices run much faster and with no lag or freezing! Thanks to Best Buy for having great customer service and ample supply of choices for every type of home.

I bought this due to my old router was not giving me the speeds that I should have been getting and the coverage in my house was not that great. After installing this I am getting better speeds and great coverage all over my house. I have a ranch style house and the router is installed in the basement in a central location. I also like the fact that it has 2 channels so that I can put the kids on one and my wife and I are on the other with the Streaming video.

My internet service provider was unable to provide a router than could carry the ultra high speed connection that I purchased. We have multiple devices running at all times, and needed something with a strong signal that could maintain the strong signal. This router is simple to use, strong signal, and trumped the one provided by our internet service provider by far! Highly recommend when stability is a necessity for several devices that need a strong signal for wireless internet use over long periods.

I haven't bought Netgear for many years. I was buying Cisco Linksys. Last Linsys I bought was very difficult to setup. I read the reviews on the new Netgear Night Hawk and gave it a try. Setup was a breeze! Genie management software is great! I stream a lot of movies and music and there are no load issues at all! Only negative is that the antennas do not screw in as tightly as I'd like. They sometimes loosen up if I move the router for cleaning.. However, this is a minor point. I LOVE THIS ROUTER!!!

I love this router. My only regret is that when I had the chance, I went with the cheaper of my two Netgear options. ( I should have purchased the more expensive one) There was a big difference in speed and through put from my previous Netgear router (2 years old) I I believe the improvement would have been even more dramatic with the more expensive router. Set up was easy. Updating was easy. It made a noticeable improvement to all my connected devices. wow

i was paying for fast internet just to get slowed down by my cheap equipment. I decided to pay more and WOW now my speeds are actually what i am paying for with this router. I would recommend this to anyone!!

I've owned several Netgear routers over the years and this router is by far the best from them and is the best I've ever owned! It is larger then most and does take up some desk real estate but it is definitely worth it. Since purchasing it I have yet to restart it. It has so far handled two XBox 360's, Netflix, and a computer with absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend this router to everyone!!

We were having a lot of trouble with our Internet, and TV Service through our provider! My Son told me to get this, Im 69 and not high tech! It Works so good and Fast! Hard to believe!!

This router was recommended to me by one of the staff at Best Buy. He explained that this unit most likely has the best price quality ratio around the $200.00 range. I decided to take his advice and purchased it. The product is performing flawlessly so far, approximately a month after purchasing it. Streaming on multiple devices ( up to 3 ) seems to be an easy task for the capabilities of this router. I am very pleased with it. I will definitely recommend this product.
