works great for larger house faster internet than our older router

This router was easy to setup and had great speeds and WiFi range.

This is a great router. Fast. Easy to set up. The mobile app is great to managed the router. It was easy to rename and change the password for the router. Little pricey versus the Linksys equivalent and other models.

This router is fantastic! Signal is 105MB all over my 5k sq ft house. No loss through walls, floors, etc in the house. Drops to 95MB in my metal outbuilding about one hundred yards from my house. Setup was super easy. No complaints!

I purchased the Nighthawk X10 router because I was looking to receive better coverage throughout my house and on my back patio. I read great reviews and thought I would be set up for the future with this router. It works fine but the coverage is good - not great. When I walk out to my back patio, it bounces from 3 bars to 2 bars. My house is not very large so I thought the coverage would be much stronger. Directions say to point the antennae toward the direction you need better coverage. I did this and it didn't make much difference. I was using the Luma system which had 3 router devices placed around my home. I needed a 4th so I decided having just one router would be better - and it is. Just wish coverage was stronger.

I purchased this a couple months ago. Now that I’ve had a chance to use it I am quite impressed at the overall performance and features that this product carries. The web based interface and the app are very easy to use.

If you have 400 MBS internet speed this is one of the best on the market. Super long range. Do not settle for anything less. The computer inside knows what device need 2.4 crazy range and the 5 for gaming and streaming.

Have 4 TVs 2 laptops 2 pc works great with smart TVs, Netflix big improvement with downloading speeds. Have large home back room need Wi-Fi extender boost that also works great. That's the basics it can do a lot more if needed.

I'm a computer security guy who is very picky about security and performance. We went through several different router models that didn't perform well and eventually settled on this as a last hope for covering our 3 story 4000 sq foot house. The big spend made me pause but I was so frustrated with Netflix buffering and dropped connections in games etc. The X10 has it all. VPN access, Plex server, next gen wireless built in, and a DMZ port! Cool stuff. Had it for about a month now and not a single dropped game connection and good speed to every single part of the house. We do have to keep it pointed in a specific way but it allows for antenna angle changes. I'm a picky guy but have no complaints yet. And I enjoy the lights. Why shouldn't something be good and look cool too?
